The color Jose applies is perfect with my completion and the short angled cut works well with my jawline. Jose always takes the time to get my cut right. My hair is really thick so after he texturizes with his sheers, blows it out and flat irons it, he goes back in with the scissors to get the right angle of the style. The staff is always super friendly and always offer me a beverage. The team at Serenity Salon & Spa are a well oiled machine. Jose's assistants are super helpful and detailed at what they do. This is by far the worst salon I have ever been to in regard to customer service and quality. I went in and asked for balayage and showed the stylist the model photo with light brown caramel highlights. She seemed to have no idea what she was doing and ended up lightening my hair too much and I left with an ashy blonde color which looked horrible and was not what I asked for. She said it looked like my photo and it was just the salon lighting (??) but if i still didn't like it she would fix it in a few days. I ended up calling back the next day and the receptionist (who was also rude) told me she wouldn't be back until July so i decided to have another stylist fix it. He ended up dying my hair red and in some places it legitimately looked pink. I told him this was too red and also not what I asked for and he told me it was the best they could do and now it will take a month for me to get to the color I asked for but only if I kept coming to him and having him fix it. When I came back and asked for a refund since it looked awful the stylist came out and yelled at me and told me that I don't deserve a refund and life isn't fair and that this is now my reality. I left and contacted the owner who was a despicable man who accused me of lying and said the stylists both said I left happy when that was clearly not the case. He also said both hair colors looked fine when they are both extremely unflattering and completely not what I asked for. He basically kept stringing me along saying he will contact the stylist and see if he could offer me a refund and never got back to me. Please avoid this salon at all costs. They do not know what they are doing and will verbally abuse you if you mention that they did not meet your standards.

April then cancelled two, yes two, subsequent appointments and did so via TEXT MESSAGE, so there we are, paid hair cut that never happened....no color correction,and now I have to reschedule the whole appt for my girl's dance. VERY unprofessional...... Well, she obviously all of a sudden had her friends post good reviews to offset mine....earlier today she said she would refund the haircut, but since I called her unprofessional she will not.
