The business is part of a vertically integrated landscaping concern run by an over-educated gentleman named Dean, although the nursery is run by a friendly and knowledgeable manager named Kim. She is a font of ideas and suggestions, and if you bring photos of your garden and house she is more than willing to get you going. This is about as non-corporate as it gets, and the selection is way more diverse than the big box stores. The shrubs are grown and tended with care, and are guaranteed healthy--you can replace anything that doesn't survive. If you want great service with a personal touch, you can't go wrong here. Sunny Lawn is about an hour away from my home, but a non-profit I am involved in has worked with them for over ten years for the spring fundraiser. We make the trip with trucks to pickup flowers to bring them back because the quality is something we have become known for with the spring flower sale and that is because of Doris. In addition to buying from the fundraiser, I know try and make my own little trip to see her gorgeous blooms and fill my yard.
