I was so glad to eat this plate of greens! Delicious soups, too.

There was good and not so great. The good: What we ended up getting was very good. We had soups and salad, juice and desserts. My friend also got a gluten free pizza which was delicious. They have a good selection of vegetarian and gluten free foods. The bad: We got there about 3:15 and were told not all the food islands were open. They close a bunch from 2-5pm yet still charge $10. I think they should knock the price down a notch if there is a limited selection. The employees were mostly nice and helpful. The moral: Check their website or call ahead to make sure you go when they have all the islands open.

Unlimited food for a decent price. My personal favorite station is the stir fry, where you customize your stir fry and it is cooked right in front of you. This is typically the longest line in the school year but is worth it. They typically have any dessert you can think of, including ice cream that is scooped right in front of you. I love their chips and queso and salad bar. If you have a couple hours to spend and a ravaging appetite this is the place for you.

For $9, you can eat all that you want, but it tends to come at the expense of quality. Since there are so many students that come through here everyday, food is mass produced. It tastes decent, but if you are paying, you'd be better off going to a restaurant in EL for the price. If you're a student with a meal plan, go for it. It's one of the better cafeterias on campus, and definitely has the most offerings.

As a student, it's incredibly understaffed. I blame management. They're horrible to their employees

Years ago, the worlds largest non-military cafeteria was just that, a cafeteria.

Came here to give a presentation…read more OMG! I think LCC is the smallest college I've ever been to. I think this college only has like 5 buildings, if not more. It's all in a block! Despite the small size, there is adequate space. The room I presented was surprisingly big! People there are friendly and helpful! I have to give shout-out to the Interpreter Program at LCC. It's rumored to be one of the top 3 interpreter training program in the entire nation. After being with their alumnae and students, I believe it. LCC is another college that has banned smoking on campus.

I took a few Spanish classes here for fun, and a few online courses to satisfy degree requirements…read morefor a graduate education program. Anyway, I was really impressed with the Spanish courses I took. Both were really helpful, and native Spanish speakers. Also, the small class sizes aided instruction. The online classes were a NIGHTMARE. Poorly designed, and not always led by the best instructors. I was actually dropped from one course (without warning) because I didn't turn in enough assignments early on in the course (I wasn't too worried about my grade in this course). Anyway, I only got a partial refund back, and felt cheated. Anyway, the prices seem reasonable. I took my two in-person courses on the new LCC East campus. The downtown campus seems to have pretty good facilities too.
