He had been out about 10 months earlier to take a look at it and to give me his professional opinion. It was honest and invaluable. In fact, he suggested I ask the original contractor to fix the problem. Unfortunately, he wasn't able to do it due to time and money constraints. So, I asked Daniel to return to give me an estimate and walk me through exactly what it was he was going to do and what materials he was going to use and why. This really mattered to me because the issue was about waterproofing and drainage, neither of which was working. He answered all of my many questions and explained to me his reasoning and the thinking behind what needed to be done. He and his coworker arrived on time every morning, worked diligently through the day, and left the bathroom spotless every evening. They did the entire job in five days--removed the existing shower floor tile, the bottom tow of wall tile, and the curb, redid the slope/pan, installed a new waterproof barrier, new drain system and drain and new tile and grout. They did all of this for a fair price. Now my shower floor looks beautiful and the drainage works perfectly. I could not be happier and I highly recommend Alcazar Tile.

The specification for the pool coping thickness was clearly stated on our contract at 3" but we still had to have them cut down a inch because the contractor didn't allow for variables. This delayed the project a few months and we paid for the stone cutting at significant $$$. Once completed the job looked very good, until we got into the pool a few days later and noticed the coping grout was extruding from under the coping an over the tiles in a few places where we need to attach the pool cover track and a big blob in our skimmer! Asking Gutierrez R Construction to resolve this and we didn't get a response to two text messages until I mentioned my attorney even still they appear to have no desire to resolve the poor workmanship. My recommendation is don't hire Gutierrez R Construction!
