Refurbished jewelry

I can't brag about Brock's enough! Their customer service is unmatched and their work is amazing. My rings are close to 100 years old and Brock's gave them a second life and didn't charge too much for it!

Ms. Bre Ow truly educated me on what could work, what wouldn't, and importantly--why. She shared patience and extra time to try different clasps that would allow an easier grasp. As a delightful bonus, Ms. Ow wore an elegant combination of jewelry. It is always a pleasure to work with someone who is so knowledgable. Please share our thanks with Bre and your entire team!

They were kind enough to re-order the band I fell in love with, and I organized everything in numerous tiny Ziplock bags, and, with the company of my favorite Sister, we took off to Osborne's [with a pre-set appointment time]. Once there, we holed up in the end office on the south side and went to work. Two of the kind, knowledgeable Osborne's staff [forgive me for not recalling their names] worked diligently to evaluate each piece with their jeweler's loupe and other resources, and within an hour [trust me, I brought a bunch of items that day!] they had an estimate for the repairs I was considering, an estimate for the re-designed items, and a quote for the gold and silver they would purchase! I was amazed at how efficiently they operated! They also showed me the band I fell in love with years prior and wrote up an offer for me to trade in my current band. This unique beautiful band actually still took my breath away years after it initially did! The Osborne's team let me wear the ring for the duration I was in the store, and offered me a miniature prosecco in a lovely, stemmed champagne glass, which was a delightful treat! They promised me a "ready by" date and, despite me not making it back to the store when the items were ready [for some reason, I let months get away from me] they held the repaired/remade items without additional charge and when I did make it back to pick everything up, Osborne's cut me a check for $27.00 and some change, which amazed me! I had an antique [but not incredibly valuable, just heavy on sentimental value] locket cleaned and purchased a petite gold chain for it; a stick pin with a missing opal replaced with a new opal and made into a tack pin; and my sweet Momma's high school class ring sized up, and her initials reengraved in it. To me, this was a lot of work for Osborne's to do and they did it at a reasonable cost and did it right! They even replaced two watch batteries for me [one of which just died yesterday, after ~ 2 years] while I was in the store, and only charged me for one battery. Even though the "band of my dreams" did not work out to be a purchase I made at Osborne's, I appreciate their willingness to a. order it for me to see and try on in the store and b. assess my current [at that time] wedding band as a trade in and c. their patience with me, as I really did not understand the wild fluctuations regarding the value and price of gold. Thanks, Osborne's for your consistent passion for all things jewelry, watches, and beautiful stemware, and extremely kind, thoughtful service over decades!

We had a lot of details. Special prayers, a glass of Merlot (her favorite) and a toast to her and pouring some Merlot on her grave in her honor. Long story short. Getting home from this emotional and beautiful day I noticed the top of Momma's class ring was missing. It wasn't a traditional class ring with a stone it was more of a crest. I had had the ring for decades and only worn it a few times before damaging it. I was so sad. Enter Osborne's. They made her ring better than it was before and just delighted my heart! I can't thank you Osborne's adequately for being kind, professional and really loving their customers as we honor the lives of loved ones who have gone before us. Thank you so very much! Your creativity and skill is beyond compare and is gratefully appreciated. Consistently so! Thank you Osborne's!

All I wanted was to peruse their watches, in hopes of finding one that was a good fit for my dad's birthday. Now, I am not an expert but I know a *few* things about watches. I'm also not a person who drapes themselves in obvious name brands, but I know good customer service at "fancy" stores. These folks need to call the Cartier store in Atlanta or Hermes in KoP for some customer service tips. Anyway...walked in and was told we'd have to wait for "one of the guys" to help us. I didn't catch the name of the man who helped us (nor did he offer us a card or anything), but it was obvious he quickly sized us up as "people not worthy of his time." After telling him what we wanted, he pushed an entry model Tag Heuer because "it's part of the big five brands." (I'd love to know what he thought the other four were, but I digress.) I'm not a Tag fan, so he then--despite my saying I'm not a huge watch fan--pushed a gargantuan Tudor. When I inquired about some of their used watches, he just said "oh those are in the thousands" and stared. (Ummm, okay?) So, I asked if they ever got in any other Swiss brands or knew of a vendor--and used Jaeger-LeCoultre as an example. He told me to, wait for it, "look at a department store in town" or "inquire at Bridge Street" which was both comical and insulting given that I was wearing one. And so we left, confused as to why we went in the first place. Practical notes: it's in the same building as a Starbucks and the parking lot is small, so good luck battling every soccer mom and her SUV. Staff will mask up if you are wearing one, which is a good thing (in my book) and they have absolutely zero Rolexes in stock.
