Additionally, I had a ring sized down. After about 2 weeks, I was called to pick up my jewelry. It cost over $152. I am not sure that is a good price. My last purchase of a larger lobster clasp and ring along with ring downsize at another store less than a year ago was half price. Maybe prices have skyrocketed in less than a year. I really do not know.

I'm a newly engaged man in my 30's and having never purchased any jewelry before. Naturally I reach out to my family and my Step-Dad was quick to say "Go see Read. He'll take care of you." Read has been my Step-Dad's jeweler for years so I knew who he was but had never dealt with him first hand. He definitely took care of me to say the least! From the moment I walked in Read and his staff were extremely helpful, had a great selection to look at, listened to what I was looking for and what my budget was, were extremely patient, and helped me find "the ring" that has had people asking my Fiancée where I got that beautiful ring from! Now keep in mind that I had actually picked out two different rings and due to certain circumstances had to change my mind twice before finding "the ring"! The response from Read was always the same, "hey that's fine, not a problem, now let's find the one!" After that Read, knowing what I was looking for based on our conversations, found exactly what I was looking for in a ring and then found a great deal on a beautiful diamond in the parameters I wanted and in my budget! And did I mention he did it quickly!!! His communication with me the entire time was quick and easy and constant between the phone calls, texts, and emails. The customer service didn't stop after the purchase though. He set up a wonderful, private, jewelry soirée for my Fiancée and her friends which they thoroughly enjoyed!! Next, when she went to go get the ring sized, her Facebook post read "When you walk in to have your ring sized and your jeweler greets you by name and offers you wine. He gets me." The fact that he takes care of my Lady when I'm not there, speaks volumes and is greatly appreciated!!! If you're looking for a jeweler to be YOUR JEWELER, that will learn what your style is and more importantly your Lady's style, take care of you both every step of the way, with great service... The appraiser spent 24 minutes appraising our home. He wrote negative remarks towards the listing…read moreagent in regards to the marketed square footage; though he admittedly didn't take measurements for his report. He stated that the square footage of the home was 110 feet less than marketed. We submitted builder permit's, tax records, and third-party commercial measurements to dispute him. He used outdated market comps and homes with incomparable features to devalue our home 20k. He was also not knowledgeable in the current market trends in our area. The appraiser was unresponsive and unwilling to re-evaluate his report even after the dispute and factual information was given to him. He only got one-star because he told us how clean our house was.
