One of our friends recommended Brock Doors and Windows so we called them and they sent their sales guy Tony. He was very nice person to talk to, he walked us thru the selection and explained how the rebate works. The team who came to install were very polite , brought sheets to put on floors, cleaned after. Good job done they finished all 10 windows in one day, we are happy with both their service and quality. Their office is very prompt, sent us the survey and email for rebate. read more

We wanted to change out our old patio door for a new sliding door. They sent out a sales rep, Adam, who came to our house and spent about an hour explaining the quality of their products and taking measurements. As he left, he promised a quote within 24 hours. We're still waiting for the quote after 10 days - and after follow-up phone calls and emails. Not a word! As a former VP of Sales and Marketing, this is completely unprofessional. We gave the business to another company who gave us a verbal quote on the spot and then followed up the next day with a written one. Brock Doors and Windows are not worth wasting you time over. read more

This company has a lot to answer for. They priced out a storm door for my home along with a patio door for the back of my home. At their insistence, they wanted two separate invoices. As it turns out, the reason was because they had no intention of completing the storm door. They only used that as a ruse to gain the patio door business since I was clear I'd only hire a company that would do both. Unfortunately they let the fact that they would not install a storm door slip a few months later, but it was already too late. As for the patio door, the installation was a mess. They tore off trim that didn't need to be removed and GLUED TRIM TO MY TILE for some reason. Cheap trim too along with cheap sealer - we're talking the cheapest Home Depot grade materials. On the outside, they made several ugly miscuts and then tried to hide it all with a comically-large path of sealer, smeared all over my antique wooden siding. After I complained they returned to try to correct the job and managed to make it WORSE! Even Brock's salesperson agreed it was unacceptable. But then Brock stopped answering the phone or returning emails. They vanished for months. Finally I received a call demanding payment. I told them they had done damage and abandoned the work but other than acknowledging some of their mistakes their only response was to file a collection agency report FOR WORK THEY ADMITTED WAS SUBSTANDARD. There's a lot more to this story than just this too, but I don't want this review to go on forever, either. I urge strong caution to anyone considering doing business with this company.T read more

I am a Property Manager. I ordered a window from Brock, and we are now on month 13 waiting for it to be installed. We have had about 6 cancelled appointments, techs coming at the wrong times, and when we finally were able to get a tech in, the window was the wrong size. Brock refuses to reimburse the deposit, and their response time is infuriating. Their customer service for Condominiums is rude, unprofessional, and inexperienced. I do not recommend anybody use this company. read more

I had Brock install windows for me in the past and the service was excellent. However... I ordered a window late July 2021. It didn't arrive until late May 2022 and didn't have a screen! The screen didn't arrive until mid-November 2022. And it was the wrong size. The replacement screen arrived today and it was even bigger. Rather than make it 1/8" smaller, they made it 1/8" bigger so it is an even worse fit. I understand from the installer (who was exasperated) that the company changed hands some time ago and that the service has deteriorated since then. Needless to say, if I ever need to replace another window, my business will go to some other company. read more

Brock windows has the worst costumer service. We wish we went with another company but we trusted that they valued their customers and their craft. The job was rushed, our house was left a mess and the job was never completed. We are still waiting 7 month later and the job is still not done. They never honoured our contract. We want to let people know that Brock Windows is not a trustworthy company. The workers don't care to cover the floors and furniture or to even clean up a little bit, they also rushed the job by working 1 day and left early, the sales department completely lied to us and stole money from us plus the project manager and management never cared to resolve this problem. Save the headache and go with another company!! read more

the worst experience dealing with this company. We had our 13 windows replaced with their triple glass in beige. The delivered and installed all 13 windows. all the windows need to be re caulked inside and out every year since they have been installed. That 3 years in a row. all four seems of all the windows except for two are bleeding a different colour. They refuse to honour the worthless warranty. This is the most stressful experience I've ever had dealing with a company. Do not buy anything from this company. Now we have to get a lawyer involved just so they can honour their warranty. The windows are faulty and not measured correctly. A nightmare! read more

Salesman was great. Customer service is not. We ordered our front door and one bedroom window in early September. We were told that everything would be ready and installed in November and that it would not be a problem to have installation done on a weekend. They contacted us mid November to arrange for installation of the door AND window but made it very difficult for us to get the job done on a Saturday. They said they don't normally do weekends. My husband said that is not true as we were told up front by the salesman they do and it was one of the reasons we bought from their company. When they arrived, they only brought the door and we were told that the window wasn't ready, but they didn't tell us that over the phone. The installers were loud and somewhat rude. Three weeks later, after several calls to Brock, they said our bedroom window was ready but again gave us a hard time to get a Saturday installation. They scheduled it for Dec 3 and I waited all day but no one came. When I called, I was told by the answering service that Brock was closed and I would have to wait until Monday to contact them. That week, after calling again about the window, and again not wanting to give us a Saturday installation, my husband told them he was fed up and ready to cancel the order if it wasn't done the following weekend. They agreed to do it on Dec 10. The window was installed Dec 10 and they men who came were polite and friendly. My door and window are lovely but it wasn't worth the hassles and I would not buy from Brock again. read more

multiple windows and doors were ordered including a replacement patio door system. As they were installing it in July, it was obvious that it would be opening the wrong way and not mirroring the existing door. I was told this was a sales rep error and a conversion kit would need to be ordered. The September appointment was cancelled as the truck broke down. The October appointment cancelled as staff sick. The November appointment cancelled as staff quit. I now have a December appointment pending but I can't put up my Christmas tree until this is done. Every time it took multiple phone calls and emails on my part in order to get an appointment schedule. My order was placed on March 6th. I also ordered a storm door system (plus a new front door and a fire door to the garage) and I am still waiting. That was 8 months ago and I had expected the storm door to be in place by now. Winter is coming. I have left multiple messages with my project co-ordinator which have not been returned. Very poor customer service. read more

I ordered new windows and they were installed ahead of schedule. The Installers were professional if a little lax when it came to mask wearing. Everything was fine with the install except one small issue with one window. No big deal. I used a Credit Card for the original $2,000 deposit. 6 weeks later I paid for the completed job with my Line of Credit ($5700). They had for some reason retained my original MC info and wrongly charged that account. OK mistakes happen. I called immediately (Nov 12) and left several messages. No response. Called again the next day and no response. Later that day Brock's Service Dept called me to arrange an appt to fix the problem window and I asked them to transfer me to the Accounting Dept. After explaining the issue, the gentleman assured me the issue would be fixed immediately and he would confirm by email. It is now Nov 17 and nothing has been fixed. I am overdrawn on a MC I use for small expenses, have been charged an overdraft fee of $29 and probably had a notice sent to the credit bureau. I am very unhappy. read more

Dealing with Brock was a complete nightmare. After our spring 2018 installation was delayed by over two months, they showed up with a sliding patio door that didn't fit, a basement window that couldn't be installed because it might cause damage to our ceiling (?), caused $1,100 in paint damage in one of our rooms, and left caulking and other debris strewn all over our front yard. To this day, over a year later, we are still waiting for them to install the patio door and basement window that they had contractually committed to. Instead, Brock has opted to send my wife and I to collections for the final $5k payment (of a $26k job) we retained given the project wasn't completed. Oh and all the "customer service managers" involved in the process conveniently ignored us every step of the way. Even after writing Mike Nolet, their president an email earlier this week pleading our case we have yet to hear back - yet the calls from collections continue. Wouldn't recommend them to our worst enemy! read more

This company offers excellent customer service. It is so nice to have a friendly voice answer the phone!

windows / doors The installers were professional and worked quickly and efficiently, and the salesperson Bill K. was excellent in explaining our options. They cleaned up well and knew what they were doing. Both of the installers (mike and..) who came were excellent. We used Brock several years ago for other windows and that is why we came back and used them again. We will use them again when we complete redoing all of the remaining windows in our 30 year old house. read more

In December 2015 I purchased a Novatech Garden door from Brock Doors and Windows. The door was determined to be defective by a Brock representative and a Novatech representative and was replaced in March 2016. The replacement door was also defective. The replacement door was confirmed to be defective on 4 separate site visits by 2 Brock Doors and Windows representatives and 2 Novatech representatives. After countless emails and phone calls Brock Doors and Windows manager Randy Sibald informed me that there was nothing they were willing to do to repair or replace the door. A July 2016 written request for a refund was ignored. I brought the matter before the Ontario Small Claims Court (SC-16-00009588-0000). Brock Doors and Windows chose to ignore the Plaintiffs Claim and were found in default by the Ontario Small Claims Court judge. Brock Doors and windows was issued an "Endorsement Record/ Order of the Court" (April 10,2017) requiring that they pay the issued judgement. They have ignored the request for payment of the Order of the Court. This company left me with a door that they determined to be defective, denied my requests to have the situation remedied, and has now ignored a Ontario Court Order to make payment. read more
