The biter end summary: Very unethical, dishonest, disrespectful. (If you also want to sue them reach me up ). The apartmentw costing €1600 four months before we rented, they inflated it to €2080. (Did your salary increase 25% to justify such an inflation????)
Why would you deal with a agent who just opened the door yesterday and has no regards and respect to their customers who put bread on their tables? Here is why you would not hire their services:
- They accepted to take an unfinished house/apt and start booking viewers, the house didn't have bed, there was no washing machine, the gas boiler was broke, the oven was broke, both toilets were unusable (I have dated photos of everysingle details of this apartment inflated to €2080 in Lucan), silly me who paid for it, water pump on the wrong place attached to the ensuite wall, casual horrible noise at night due to pipes vibration on the wall amplifying the noise, we asked the plumber to fix when the toilet was being repaired two weeks after our request(he said the agent didn't mention it and charged us €100 to add a button switch on the pump). The house was dirty and not ready to be rented at all, as it took three months to repair things up (hence, everything in the house wasn't working or had to be repaired).
- They discriminate and treat students badly. They rented a property to a professional telling that they don't want students in the house(in my opinion every creature in the universe has the very same value, so in this case if the bills are paid, whoever is welcome to my place, so I still rented the vacant room to a lovely student, as we all were students in the past, even these selfish agents) .
I closed my contact, because found another place. And they made a new contract with the new tenant who moved in 10 days before my contact expired. I went to their office with the new tenant and they promised me to refund my deposit (as the woman rudely said "we have nothing to do with him anymore"), so we agreed that I have to take my part and give the other part to the other tenants who stayed, I emailed the agent and they said that they won't give my deposit back. And they insist on to give my deposit as they promised (I worry about the current flatmates now, they are in very unprofessional hands, I did warn them to find something elsewhere, but now it is up to them to deal with these people).
Apart from that they gave a €500 discount during covid and promised the discount. What is happening now? They want me to pay them back the discount that they clearly stated on our emails to be a discount. Tell me when did LIDL or Ford came to their customers to take their 20% discount from you(as a regulated serious business). I am prosecuting them wishing them to close the doors and pay a massive fine to the state by deceiving their customers.
I am buying a house very soon, and theses guys wouldn't get any close to my place.
