The Monte Cristo Wrap was really quite good and had a lot of nice flavors and was seasoned well. My veggie burger was different but delicious. It was also seasoned well and I managed to eat every last bite and thoroughly enjoyed it. I ordered a side of Fried Mac and Cheese and it too was very different than what you would expect. The mac and cheese is not shaped into balls, battered and fried. They take their mac and cheese and smash it down on the grill to cook it. So good. It had lots of crispy bits on it. The food was fresh and really well cooked. The place is like an old fashioned diner and friendly service with a smile. The atmosphere was fun, and everyone seemed friendly and were enjoying their meals. We were full, but when our server came by and said we have fresh made pies, Mr. Bee jumped on that bandwagon. We got a piece of coconut cream pie to go. We stopped in the park in the middle of the square where there are a few benches and picnic tables. We enjoyed our pie, it was scrumptious while enjoying the beautiful sunny day.

Pancakes were light and fluffy, eggs were runny and just how I like them. Sausage and bacon were both good. Service was friendly, just as one would expect. If you're in the area, I certainly recommend.

It was an apple pie (not good, but if you like lots of goop, go for it) and brother had rhubarb strawberry which was a pureed rhubarb goop and maybe 3 visible tiny strawberries. We didn't have lunch or breakfast but I've eaten here before and it was good. Just super disappointed in the pies.

There's happy hours on Wednesdays and Saturdays. It's about $7 for a basic cocktail. Whiskey and whatever. It's about $7 for most appetizers. The Giant Pretzel is great for sharing. Comes with a beer cheese or something else. The rest of the menu includes things like fish sandwiches. Good place to watch games. It's one of the few places around here that's open on Sundays. That makes sense because races are usually on the weekends.
