I went after my first night in town, and it was so good that if someone offered me a ticket to see it again, I'd say, "I'm down." I was really puzzled by how they got the car to flip all the way around. Some of the songs are still stuck in my head. I even sing them right before going to bed. I'm so glad I saw this show. This production is outstanding! We saw Back to the Future, Cabaret and Crazy for You this trip. I can't compare the three since all of them are completely different but I highly recommend this show for something fun and casual. You will not be disappointed. This is also a very family friendly show, the kids in the theatre seemed to enjoy it even if they aren't an 80s baby like me :) Very fun time! Can't ever do theatre in London without ice-cream at intermission, it's mandatory for me. This theatre doesn't have vegan options as our Cabaret production did but I'm consistently on mint chip as a little intermission refresher. If you get tix and haven't seen the movie in awhile I think it'd be fun to watch it first. I didn't have a clue about the movie since it's been forever since I've seen it, but still had a blast - so many laughs and so enjoyable.

Okay, so it's not on the same scale as a West End show, but if you fancy seeing an independent play for a decent price, then this is the place to come. The theatre itself is small and quite intimate, which I think is a good thing as it gives the play a little more atmosphere, however it is not so small that it is awkwardly empty. As usual, most things other than the actual theatre tickets are a bit of a rip off, but that's really the same with most places, so at least here you'll be supporting a local business! Questors run loads of drama, dance and performing workshops and regular classes, so there's loads to see and get involved in, and the general surroundings are relaxed and pleasant, so all in all Questors makes a great addition to Ealing Broadway.

I was so excited to be there for one of the previews of 'Other Desert Cities' and curious as to how that would work with the theatre having just been reconfigured to 'in the round'. It actually worked very well, and while we in the upper level, I can imagine it would be particularly interesting to be in the seats that were vitrually part of the set. I think I spied Melvin Bragg Down there. Who-ever it was he seemed to enjoy the show as much as us. OK perhaps it wasn't what I would call must-see theatre but it had a little something for everyone, and despite its dark nature in places, we had plenty of knowing belly laughs too. Since press night its been garnering a solid four stars. Perhaps because the show was in preview we were able to bag reasonably priced tickets at the box office direct. The staff were very friendly and helpful when we popped in the day before to check on availability. If there was a down-side it was that the seats were uncomfortable and the leg room very cramped, and thats coming from someone who is just 5ft & 2 inches! My companion had another foot on me and found the cramped seating a distraction from the show. Perhaps the more expensive seats are more comfortable. Wish everywhere had seats as cosy and roomy as The National Theatre! Conveniently located just along the road from Waterloo station for tube, rail and taxis.

Each night I would arrive about 9, alone with a sketchbook in hand, and within half an hour I would have made friends with artists, musicians, actors and television producers. Each night about 10pm, they have live music from regular bands, and jazz musicians singing their souls out. I felt completely comfortable being a girl on my own; I saw it as an education for life ;)

Well recognised for a wide mix of classic and contemporary theatre it's famous for attracting an absorbing crowd to the admirable performances. We called to book tickets for a Wednesday evening, but we were told just to come along (I'd always ring to check though as popularity varies). So, after a drink in the bar area we headed upstairs to the theatre, wine glasses in hand. We watched 'The Rape of Lucrece', a narrative poem by Shakespeare. The acting was astonishingly good and I find it really remarkable to see a performance of such quality in such an intimate space. The theatre is the size of your living room and our seats were so close to the stage that I could see the sweat on the actor's face! After you can head back down to the bar to top up your wine and rave over what you just had the real pleasure of seeing. Often you're joined in the bar with the actors themselves which shows what a nice atmosphere this place has. For the love of theatre!

The show is not the mid century modern Bob Fosse production. This is a reinterpretation and is a much more complex and baroque production. The cast is fantastic and really belt it out! The theater is an oddball. If you don't sit on the stage level then be prepared to climb several flights of stairs to the weirdly narrow balcony seats. These seats afford a top down view of the stage. Sort of a "Busby Berkley" eye view of the stage. The sound quality is also quite excellent from up there. Thank goodness there is a WC on the top level! Highly recommend.

Good location. Coming out at 11:45pm, there's a nightclub next door which still had long queues of people waiting to get in.
