Please save your money and go somewhere else. They charge you $160 dollars for a called diagnostic and then they give you a print out of what parts you need with out giving you a full report diagnostic print out. Plus this fee does not even go towards the repair. Went to another shop get second opinion the parts they were quoting me were way overcharged and some parts were already included in other words they over charge you. If the low stars didn't already tip you off, you shouldn't go here! We had a car with a dead battery and a flat tire. AAA tow service brought us here (because the tow guy said it was his cousin's shop) when we asked them to go to Costco. When we arrived at Broadway, the mechanic said he couldn't get an estimate today, was going home for the day, and would call. Giving him the benefit of the doubt despite not wanting to go to this shop, we left the car. He called the next day with an estimate $300 higher than our normal mechanic down the street (on a $500 job). We decided to tow the car to the mechanic down the street, and we let them know. Broadway then said they refused to release the car unless we paid a "diagnostic fee." That might have been fair except: 1) We were towed to the shop against our wishes 2) There's no diagnostic work for a dead battery and a flat tire 3) They never told us So I wound up having to pay a hefty diagnostic fee at a shop I didn't want to go to that did no work on the car and wanted to charge us 50% more than the BETTER mechanic down the street. Beware! Bad customer service and deceptive business practices extend to ALL aspects of a business. Even if this isn't your issue, it's a hell of a reason to not trust them with your car! read more

i wish i could give less than one star, but yeah don't come here if you want the best value bc they will try to sell you everything but what you need done. I truly feel like because they saw I was a woman with my grandma by my side that they could try to take advantage of us and sell us things we aren't there for. I was about to be charged close to $1000 for a service where other places charge $300. Also, they installed break lights on my car three months ago. The check break lights code never went away and come to find out it was due to their error. Alex "fixed" it and tried charging me again for it. When i brought up how i thought it was wrong that i was paying again for something that was supposedly fixed three months ago and when i asked what type of light bulbs they used they decided I wasn't going to be charged anymore. That solidified to me that they were in fact trying to "chingarme". I understand times are tough, but they're tough for everyone and overcharging and not providing good services to your customers isn't making anything better. I arrived 2 hours before closing on Saturday, the day before Easter, and they were very helpful. Did a code read and assured me I could safely drive home. The receptionist (didn't catch her name though) was very friendly and helpful and helped me navigate the T.V. while I was waiting for my car to be fixed. Last week, I was on the way from LA to the Cross Border Xpress and about 15 minutes before arriving to my destination, the tire light on my dashboard went on. I pulled over to check my tires only to find a nail inside my tire. I quickly searched for the nearest tire shop when I came across Broadway Premier... We come here because we've been recommended by a friend. Service is usually okay. However, we recently had a new radiator and thermostat installed which then caused the pull cable for the hood to be replaced. After we were given the car back, we were driving home and it fell off just hit the car mat. When we turned around and brought it back they automatically said we broke it. Then they said maybe they didnt connect it and some more info, all in all said they would replace it but we'd have to pay for it. We had to retun the car the next day and pay for this item to be fixed when it wasnt even our fault. Now., i write this review while sitting on their couch just DAYS after having the radiator installed and new thermostat put in all because the car is now overheating in traffic. We've not had any of the mechanics talk to us and when we came in, it seems that we were interrupting dinner. This whole issue has interrupted our sunday and we are no where close to the "happiest place on earth" insted we are enjoying the aromatic scents of motor oil and new tires. Their customer service is very poor, receptionist acted like I was inconveniencing her and my problem was never fixed, they sent me on my way after installing incompatible part and me paying and told me my car was fine... I had to insist it wasn't ok after 3 months I had no other option but to file small claims, my car after 5 months is still not running ... Here's my experience with Broadway Premier: I was returning to Pasadena CA, from a road trip to Ensenada Mexico, a 3.5 hr drive. Along the return my Pontiac Grand Am started to act up, not shifting as normal and unable to go faster then 25 mph. My intuition told me it was a transmission problem. Fearing the worst, I was able to nurse my car to Broadway Premier, Alex diagnosed my car and identified it was the oxygen sensor which failed, additionally there was a constricting coolant hose which needed to be replaced. I told Alex I had a tight time frame which I needed to return to Pasadena by and he was confident he could get me back on the road in time. Alex even assigned two of his mechanics to tackle the repairs and I am thrilled to say I was able to get on the road in time. Additionally, the waiting room in his shop has a few very cushy chairs and cable tv to enjoy while waiting. For the cost and parts, diagnostics, parts and labor were all competitive and very reasonable. All of this on a Sunday afternoon, where I did not expect any auto mechanic to be open let alone be available to help me so quickly. I thank Alex and his crew for getting me back on the road on such short notice and for such quality work. read more
