It's unfortunate this review could not be better but our experience with this dealer was just flat out poor. The sales folks were not too familiar with their UTV's to get what we needed. Poor follow up communication, they put the blame on Kawasaki and could not get clear information to us. They did not even bother to follow up with us if we were interested in other UTV manufacturers. As are concerns grew they just took the position we were uninformed as to how the process of purchasing a UTV from them worked. Then ultimatums were made to us to make decisions on the spot over the phone to ease their burden of doing their job as a dealer. Here is my experience in a quick paragraph. I pull up Friday at 2pm. I have an old four-wheeler and motorcycle I want to trade in on a single new four wheeler. I spend the next couple hours getting passed back and forth between one sales person and a manager. Finally (I picked what I wanted within a few minutes) they decide to look at my equipment, then starts another hour+ of wasted time, they come back with a really low-ball offer and the manager has this snickering grin on his face. I ended up just buying the unit because the price was fine, I just did not enjoy working with their people in sales or service. So... never going back is where I left the place. read more

I had a great experience as a first time motorcycle owner! I really wanted the new Can-Am Ryker, a super cool three wheel motorcycle that is new to the market as of the time of this review. Louis Powersports is known as one of the "hub" dealers for Can-Am, so despite it being a little bit of a drive for me I went all the way out to Greenville, and past some other dealers, to deal with Louis Powersports myself. The sales team was easy to deal with, no pressure and super knowledgable. Lisa, the finance person was especially amazing. They made it all so simple, and quick. I went from walking in the door to driving off on my new 2020 Ryker 900 Rally in about 90 minutes. Seriously! Lisa had one of the technicians spend 30 minutes with me giving an in-depth overview of the bike and its features, letting me test it in the parking lot, and understand all the knobs and levers. To be honest the Ryker is super simple, a great "first bike" for someone not quite interest in all the speed and danger of a two wheel motorcycle haha. End of the day, I got the extended warranty just in case, and now I have the peace of mind that should anything happen to my Ryker that at least Louis Powersports will handle it for me, which is nice to know. I would definitely suggest that anyone in the market for a fun toy check them out, they took great care of me. read more

I don't own a machine at this moment , but I can assure you it will not be purchased from Loius Powersports of Greenville Texas. I only gave one star because it makes you give at least one,but if i had my choice i would of not gave them any. i place a online order which i had done before with them and didn't have a problem. they confirmed my order and took my money the same way i had paid before and they didn't have a problem . so im waiting for my parts think everything's good and get a email saying they cancelled my order because a computer program flagged the order a fraudulent .1st you confrimed my order and took my money so how could that be fraudulent and you did get my money because how could you return it if you didn't receive it. when i called to question it over 10 times never got a answer just a recording. then i called there main number asked for help or a manager kept getting trasfered to recorded line finally after about a hour of being run around finally got a call back and they couldnt explain why my order was cancelled or was it was flagged but told me sorry we wont beable to fix it without a different form of payment which made no sense because i verified it was my card i have bought from them before and they had my money anyways read more

It's a miracle this place is still in business. My experience was so bad it was almost like they were trying. I was initially discouraged by Melissa's tone and lack of knowledge over the phone, but I figured I'd give it a try and drive across state. On arrival, we weren't greeted by any of the ~4 staff members even though we were the only customers on the showroom floor; I had to seek out help and ironically everyone knew who we were and that Melissa was expecting us. She took her time to stroll over to us, and tried to present the wrong model bike insisting it was the right one. We had to tell her it wasn't. She then told me it would take an hour to get the correct bike out of the crate and rudely emphasized that's why they ask for down payments. She then presented a final number that was significantly more than the advertised price. and was so rude it was like she was purposely trying to drive me out the store. I can't emphasize enough how terrible this sales experience was. She didn't even crack a smile. Update: Lisa- to be clear, this place was a ghost town. There were more employees than clients. That being said, this isn't about sales tax. The bike was advertised online as $4990 and Melissa tried to charge us $6212. The list of taxes and fees is not the reason we would never return, it's the way we were treated. First of all, we were very clear which bike we were coming to see. That's why Melissa presented the Rebel 300 as a Rebel 500. She even texted us before we arrived. She simply doesn't know the difference between the bikes. A mistake like that would have been fine if she was nice about it "oh I can't believe I mixed them up, I'm new here, so sorry" or something. But she argued with us, came back with attitude, no small talk, and was just plain rude. I work in sales and it was offensive to the industry that she even has a job. This woman is hurting your company; people would be more likely to buy from a Labrador with a book of prices strapped to its collar. read more

I had been researching the Teryx for a while and their price beat everyone's around. I called and got Preston. He was a pretty new sales man, but MAN he was quick and efficient. I walked in at 11:00AM that morning and at 3:00PM he was loading up my new Kawasaki Teryx4 on the trailer with all add-ons already installed. I highly recommend these guys. Took a 2 year old Seadoo in for routine service, they left the exhaust hose clamp off and the next time we launched the Seadoo, it sunk! This blew the engine, of course. After much trouble and discussion, they agreed to replace with new engine. This took months and multiple returns since they didn't install turbine shaft gasket properly. The engine turned out to be a rebuilt one and wore out a year later. Worst experience I've ever had with any vehicle dealer, bar none. read more

I purchased a new Hayabusa with extended warranty in 2016. It had scratches on the windshield when we bought it that they would do nothing about. I traded it in at another dealership May 2018. I contacted Louis Powersports early June to get a refund on the extended warranty since it was not used. Rebekah Hess sent paperwork for me to fill out to receive a refund. The form was for a Kawasaki protection plan. I replied back asking if this was the correct form since our bike was not a Kawasaki. She replied "Yes ma'am this is the correct cancellation request. They are considered the same product under the Kawasaki brand. :)" I completed the form and returned it. July 10th I contact Rebekah again to check on the status of the refund. She said she would let me know when to expect it and how much. Oct 1st and I haven't heard anything or received a refund. I contact her again. She had to ask Mandi Hash if a refund was received. Here is Mandi's reply, "We have not, and you have to bug me. Anytime I get money back though I will have a check request partially filled out and given to you." This is unacceptable. Come to find out, Rebekah had me fill out the wrong form. A refund request was never submitted to the correct company. I was able to get ahold of Masey McCracken at SGIFS, the correct Warranty company, to process a refund. She said $366.85 would be refunded and sent to the dealership. On Oct 12th, I received an email from Rebekah stating a refund on the amount of $135.37 would be sent out by the following day. I let her know that was not the correct amount. Here is her reply "It is up to the dealership to refund our profit portion from the extended service contract. However, for a five star or facebook review, I am sure I can get an approval from my sales manager to refund the remaining amount you are wanting." There's no way after all of this that I'm giving you guys a false 5 star review on Facebook or elsewhere just to get refunded the money owed to me. I will NOT be doing any more business there and highly advise against anyone else doing so if you expect to be treated fairly. I hope the owner sees this and contacts me. I went to Louis Powersports looking for a new bike. They DO NOT allow you to even sit on a bike to see if it fits you. And to make sure you don't sit on them, they pack them together about six inches apart on a semi circle. You can't even stand between them. Salesman lied and told me that was to cut down on floor space but the place is HUGE with a ton of unused space. The salesman told me "we don't want to get them scratched up." Really? I've never seen a bike shop that doesn't allow you to sit on a bike. And forget about a test ride. Ha! Never at this place. You have to start the buying process before you can even sit on the thing. What a joke. Then when I told which bike I was after, he said "oh we have one right there." I replied yea but it doesn't have ABS. He condescendingly shoots back "what do you want ABS for?" I said because I like to stop, thats why. He replied, "you can stop without ABS if you know what you're doing." and "most people don't want ABS. Total BS. It's amazing how stupid some places think the buying public is. I've been riding and buying bikes for 35 years. I had a pair of gloves I was holding to buy but put them back and left. I called and spoke with a salesman to make sure they'd be open when I got there. Due to traffic I was going to arrive 15 minutes before they closed. I called and I was told that they meet at that time and no one would be available to help me. He didn't offer to work with me the next day or anything. Basically they don't have time to be making sales close to closing time. Out of disappointment I called a couple of days later and spoke with the manager to let him know that his sales people don't have good sales etiquette since they should have at least tried to get me to come in the next day. The manager said that they have lots of things going on and he'll mention something to them. If this is how they treat customers before the sale, just imagine how they treat you if you need to use your warrantee. I wouldn't waste my time with this company!!! read more

Earning my business is a mixture of price and customer service. Both of which you seem to be lacking as you try to hide excessive costs in freight and assembly so you can show a lower unit price. In regards to customer service, I am the person looking to pay your store money for a product/service in your store. We bought our Can-Am from Louis Powersports about a year ago, and everyday i wish we DIDNT!! Let's start from the very beginning.. We dealt with two different salesman on the phone who both swore they were giving us their hands down best price available, even though one was several thousand dollars higher than the other, both CLAIMED to be the sales manager, which we later found out was a lie. When we finally agreed on a price and drove 4 hours there, they failed to mention that they close early on saturdays, so they rushed us through the buying process. The salesman conned us into buying an extended warranty, which they claimed was the best warranty for can-ams out there, and it would cover bumper to bumper. What they failed to mention was that it was a MANUFACTURER DEFECT WARRANTY- which in lamens terms means NOTHING WILL BE COVERED, even if it never gets ridden and you set it on a big golden throne. Now, the warranty online states that it's manufacturer defect, BUT the paper warranty states that several things will be covered under the discretion of Can-Am. It is up to the dealer to take pictures of the broken parts, file a claim, and then send in their reccomendation to can-am to have these parts fixed. We know FOR A FACT that these dealerships can get these parts covered because we've had several friends have theirs covered with no issue, and they take FAR less care of their bikes than we do. Anyway, they rushed us into signing all the papers for the maverick and the warranty, did not give us any paperwork, because they said it all comes in the mail, which NEVER CAME. We load the bike and head home. 30 minutes into the drive and the side piece covering the vent for the air box BLOWS OFF THE BIKE. When we got home, we called and let them know, they said they'd send us the part, and guess what?? IT NEVER CAME. we must have called 5 times requesting it, then they tried to make us pay for it and said they never offered it to us for free. NEXT, IS THE BEST PART OF THIS ENTIRE REVIEW!!.. Three months ago, we noticed a few things wrong with the maverick, regarding the motor, and the driving rack, so we took it in for warranty work to a place near us. after a month of sitting there, they called and let us know that no work was done to the bike because after requesting info for 4 weeks, they discovered that there was no warranty on the bike at all. SO THE THOUSAND DOLLAR WARRANTY WE PURCHASED THE DAY OF BUYING THE MAVERICK WAS NEVER ACTIVATED!?? thats right. After we called BRP, they informed us that they never received our warranty paperwork, then we called Louis Powersports, and they ADMITTED to never have processed our paperwork. They did not do a SINGLE thing to try and make that right, they wouldnt offer us a refund on the warranty that we paid for and never even had on our bike, wouldnt even listen to what we had to say. After battling this for a week, we finally were able to reach a guy who once again, claimed to be the sales manager, and he said that he was sorry about all the trouble, and asked us to bring the bike back to the dealership and they would have the work done in a day or two. He SWORE to us and gave us his WORD that if can-am would not cover the parts, that they would take care of it and make sure everything was fixed, in order to make ammends for all of their mistakes.so once again, we drive 4 HOURS there and spend 150 dollars in diesel, we walk in, give them our name and tell them what we're there for and the guy looks us in the eyes and says "its gonna be at least a month before we can look at your bike, and up to 2 months before motor work is done" we said "wait a minute, we JUST spoke with your sales manager, who told us to bring it here and they would make us top priority, and fix everything whether can-am covers it or not". He then proceeded to say we were lying and he knew the manager would NEVER say such a thing, then brushed us off and would not listen to ANYTHING we had to say. The only person to actually hear us out and be polite to us was Dan, who was a very nice guy, and attempted to make ammends with us. After speaking with him, we left still frustrated, but in a much better mood after at least one person heard what we had to say and was respectful towards us as PAYING CUSTOMERS. Yesterday, someone posted on TEXAS ATV SCENE asking whereto buy a maverick. after several people said not go to to Louis Power Sports, my fiance gave them a review stating that the prices were great, but the salesmen were terrible. The man claiming to be the GENERAL MANAGER then proceeded to BASH US ON A PUBLIC FORUM. Stating that our bike was a (and i quote) "clapped out junked up lifted bike with at least 5k of damage".feel free to add me on fb and see pics of our "junk" bike. he insulted the SPONSORED ATV race group that we ride with because we rep their logo. Worse then a car dealer when it comes to playing games when trying to purchase a new unit. They advertise a unit at a particular sales price then when they give you there out the door "quote". Your like wow! Where did you get that number from? Then they tell you what a "great deal" your getting off the MSRP. Where does MSRP play into the sales price? It doesn't but they insist that it does. They refuse to disclose there dealer add on fees and get mad when you want to see how they came up with that ridiculous new out the door price. Really have to watch them on there last year "new" sales units. Can't prove it since they would not come clean on how they arrived at there ridiculous out the door price. But it seems they are adding on dealer interest that that they paid for a unit they did not sell in the model year. How else can you explain a more then doubling of dealer fee's when compared to the current model year. Shady sales practice and arrogant sales staff! Is enough for me not to do business with them. Plenty of dealers out there that will respect your intelligence and not play games. read more

My brother-in-law and I have decided we're both going to buy new 4-wheelers. After looking on the internet for deals, we stumbled onto an advertisement from Louis Powersports. The pricing seemed to be great and I was excited to call and talk to the salesman to get a price quote. I was blown away. I'm not sure which salesman I talked to, but he explained to me that it is their policy not to give price quotes. I explained that I was looking to buy 2 units via phone, email, or fax that way I can show up, pick up the vehicles and leave. This is how I do all of my vehicle/heavy equipment purchases. I then asked again if there was a way to get a quote sent to me. Again, the response was the same except the salesman added that he could send me a quote if I put down a deposit. This really didn't make any sense to me as an attorney who often deals with contracts and contract disputes. I asked the salesman "How can I put down a deposit on an agreed upon price if I don't know what the price is yet?". He responded that the advertised price was all he could tell me. I then asked if the deal got any better if I bought two units. His response was, "Yes, and when you get here, I'm sure we can work something out." To which I responded, "Well, go ahead and set the terms and let's come to an agreement so you can send me the paperwork and we can do this deal." The salesman then reverted back to, "I can't send you any paperwork until I have a deposit." I then reiterated that a deposit is earnest money held by one party of a contract to secure the terms of the contract until the transaction has completed and that was what I was asking for, terms of their contract to buy their product. He assured me that they couldn't do it as it was against policy. I was so perplexed at this point I asked who the manager was so that I could call back and speak with him. A couple of hours later, I called back and asked for Curtis, the manager. I explained to him the conversation I had with one of his salesman and I asked what he could do to help me. He told me the same thing that the salesman told me. He would not send me a contract until I put down a deposit. I explained why this didn't make sense and that I wanted to know what their terms were before I agreed to them via a deposit. I explained that contracts simply don't work that way. He responded, "you're over thinking it." At this point, I asked if it was a refundable or nonrefundable deposit he required. He then got very short with me and his tone changed to an angry tone. I am a very calm guy; I never got loud, pushy, insulting, or short with him. I asked him why he was mad at me for calling and wanting to purchase one of his products. His response was, "I'm not mad, I'm impatient, I apologize." He then told me that he could not do anything until I put a deposit down and it wasn't worth his time to sell me a four-wheeler. I then asked if there was a better time for me to call when he wasn't so impatient or had a little more time and re-asked my question, "is the deposit refundable or nonrefundable." He asked me why wouldn't I buy if I had put down a deposit. I responded with the example of not qualifying for credit or something. To which he responded, "well, for something like that, sure, it would be refundable." So, I guess the deposit is refundable based on Curtis' discretion. I again explained to him how this contractually causes all kinds of problems and I'm familiar with such problems. At that point, he told me, it's just $7,000, its no big deal and I was over thinking it. To me, my hard earned $7,000 is a lot of money and not something I take lightly. In the end, he said he was done discussing it and that if I wanted to move forward, I would need to put down a deposit. The other crappy part of it was that he told me that the deal doesn't get any better than what's advertised if I bought two and that the advertised price is as good as it gets. To be fair, the advertised pricing was in the top three lowest prices I could find within 8 hours of where I live. I guess their business model is to have great prices so that customer service doesn't matter. Considering they are the only dealership within 8 hours that has two of the ATV I need and great pricing, I might go crawling back to them. If so, I will update my review post purchase. If I could give zero stars, I would. These people are so rude. My wife and I walked in, we are a lesbian couple (I'm sure that had something to do with it) looking for help to buy a part we needed for our 4-wheeler. Out of the 7 people that were in there, only one person even said hi, but did not ask if he could help us. We walked to the service counter, got about 2 feet away from the counter and the portly man who was standing there and clearly saw us walking up did not say one word and then proceeded to walk away. So, we looked around to give him some time to do what he needed. Upon his return, we were standing there waiting to talk to him and he still said nothing and then proceeded to make a phone call, in our face. I will literally drive an hour out of my way to another store to avoid ever dealing with these rude folks EVER again. someone needs to teach a customer service class here, I am appalled. read more

We went to Louis Powersports in Greenville on 10/13/15 in search of a UTV for our property. We looked at the Kawaski Mule 4010, the Pro FXT and the Pro FXT Ranch edition. I asked the salesman to give us a final price on each unit so we could decide which we wanted. He said they don't give more than one price at a time. ...Seriously. I said I guess you don't want to sell them, and we were leaving. He then said he would try to work them up. He asked if we needed financing or were we paying cash. We said cash. He entered some info into a computer and went to the office (I guess). A man who introduced himself as "Curtis, the manager" came and sat at the desk. When I asked him for the prices in writing, he said I never put prices on paper because I know my prices are the best. He would not even give us a final price on any of the units. He said he would have to get a list of all the fees and stuff. At this point, we left. We would never buy from this outfit. Just so it is clear that we were not just tire kickers, we went straight from there to Canton Powersports in Canton, Tx. Scott and Larry were both so personable and knowledgable and they gave us "out the door" prices on all three units in less than an hour. We are happily awaiting delivery of our 2016 Kawasaki mule Pro FXT Ranch Edition. read more

All of the games you would expect...if buying from a car dealership! Saw the price of an ATV online and thought it was a great price. The dealership showed up to be very near to me on cycle trader, which turned out to be the first lie. Called to verify the price and they said yes, that is the price. I asked for out the door and told there were some small fees, but not to exceed a "few" hundred dollars. Arrived at the dealership to find out that a "few" is $500 in freight and a "few,"$300 in assembly. Needless to say, I left there without an ATV and bought from my local dealer, Broadway Powersports without all the hassle. These guys are scam artists! Don't waste your time with these guys! After calling Louis Power Sports shopping for a Green Polaris Ranger and being told they had one in stock. I drove 520 miles to make the purchase only to find out they were trying to sell me Red one instead of Green. The Sale Associate was extremely unprofessional and completely uninterested in making the deal right, just in trying to get me to take something I did not want. The Store Manager was outright discourteous and rude! After taking my money I had to wait almost 2 1/2 hours to have my money refunded in order to cancel the sale. The entire staff seemed more interested in eating their lunch than taking care of customers. NO APOLOGIES WHAT SO EVER! I would not recommend trying these guys unless you have a lot of time to waste. read more

My wife and I have been researching Can-Ams for several months with the intention of buying. We recently saw an add for the model/color we wanted at Louis Powersports in Greenville, TX. The first phone call should have been my warning as all the salesman, Curtis, wanted to do was to talk about how successful their business was and how they sell to buyers all over the United States. The second phone call I was put in touch with another sales man named Tommy. We spoke about the inventory and he told me he had what I was looking for. After several phones calls and text messages back and forth we made arrangements to make the 90 minute drive from our home to test drive and, if like the drive, to buy and take the Can-Am home that day. BUT, when we arrived we found out that the model we had spoken about, that we wanted to test drive and buy and drive home that afternoon, was not even assembled but was still in the delivery crate in the back of the shop. I asked Tommy how we could test drive something that wasn't even assembled. He just replied with, "You can't". I then asked him why he led us to believed that it was going to be available to test drive. This is when he informed us that we would have to start the buying process before we could test drive. He said that he could put the model we wanted together and then we would have to return in another week to "buy" and then test drive. I found this to be totally ridiculous. I would never buy something before I test drive it. He told me that this is what all shops do. I know this to be false as I have been able to test drive other motorcycles without buying. Both Curtis and Tommy tried to encourage me to put down $500 on the Can-Am, site unseen. I told Curtis that I would trust God that if the unit is meant for me that it would be available when I got there. I was also hopefully confident that they wouldn't be deceitful to lure me out to their location to buy. I then asked him why he had led me to believe that I would be able to drive the model I had driven all the way to see if it wasn't even available to, at least see. He had no answer, just stood and stared at me. He did say that they try to keep their floor inventory down. This boggles the mind. I was a cash buyer, I was coming into to buy and they led me to believe that the model was available but when I got there they were found to be totally dishonest. He knew I wanted to test drive that model. I was so frustrated my wife and I left feeling rather stunned as we had just been the potential victims of a "bait-and-switch" scam as he tried to sell us a higher end one that was on the floor.. This even after 4 texts that morning ensure us that the unit was available for test drive and the price had not changed. I I text Tommy after we had left and thanked him for "wasting my time". He responded by saying "You have no idea how hard it is to deal with 20 buyers a week". I assured that my wife and I do understand as we are in the customer service business ourselves. He then went onto to say that he had asked for a deposit so that he could get the machine assembled for us. HE NEVER SAID THAT TO US!!! If he would have been as upfront with us before we drove out to the business as he was after we left we would have driven a Can-Am home from Louis Powersports that day. His last text mocked my faith and said, 'your reply was givens as something like "its on god hands". I had original told Curtis that but it was for the prior sale and was not meant for the falsehood of not having assembled. We did not observe integrity, character of honesty when dealing with this dealership and we will NEVER return. I was passing through Greenville and remembered Louis Powersports and so I stopped. I knew exactly what I wanted and had the deal made within 10 minutes. The salesman was super nice and had no complaints about the price etc. I picked up 6 days later as discussed with salesman and called ahead to have it ready. My salesman was not there, plenty of others were. I was led to the "managers" (Jason) office who rudely told me to not wait in front of his door. After this I was taken outside by him and he would not let me start/test drive my ATV that I had just dropped 9k on. I then asked if everything was good to go and he replied the atv "only had 1/2 the bolts tightened. I almost asked for my money back but thought with managers like this, this place don't have a chance. Whoever is in charge of hiring ( probably his dad) dropped the ball here. At first impressions the dealership is a great place to deal with. However, after test driving and thinking on the deal I contacted my bank. The dealership would not send my bank a invoice so the bank would know the numbers. They said "we need a deposit to send the invoice to the bank." After my banker figured up the numbers with no invoice there was going to be about a $1200 difference between his figures and what they had told me. I called a different dealership closer to me and their quote was about $2000 less out the door than Louis Powersports. So, I declined the deal with Louis Powersports and have bought from the other dealership. However, the sales man at Louis Powersports, Chris, continued to text me and talk bad to me about declining their deal and going to someone else. So unprofessional. I would not recommend doing business with this dealership. There are many others that have better deals and will treat you with respect. read more

Girlfriend and I had been shopping for a PWC. Called around and spoke with Brandon is sales. He was friendly enough and quoted me the best price on the PWC($7199.00) with no issues. When I inquired about a trailer, he said "they're $800 to $900..." Okay, no big deal, just shopping by phone. After calling around, they DID have the best price, so I called Brandon back and asked him to give me a no B.S. total CASH price. 3 hours later he called me back in a total of $9500.00. Okay, so before taxes and fees my math says that's $8,099, saying the trailer was $900. Over $1,400 in taxes and fees? Something's fishy. I proceeded to ask him if he could break the quote down for me, and he said he couldn't because he didn't have the information. So you're quoting me a price and can't break it down for me? Yep, pretty much. Of course, as others said of this establishment, he wanted me to put down a deposit on a machine I haven't seen, without knowing what anything actually was going to cost or all the B.S. fees they were trying to stick us with. Bottom line, I found a BETTER, HONEST deal in McKinney, WITHOUT the hidden fees. Don't bother with these clowns. They quote you a good price, but then try to stick it to you with B.S. add ons and hidden charges. I'm just glad we found out over the phone and didn't waste the time to drive over. read more
