So here is a rundown on the place, 3 stories, elevator, swimming pool, laundry room, security gate, many units on first floor have hardwood floors, 2nd and 3rd floor typically have carpeting. the building seems to allow smokers so fyi. Units are a mix of 1 and 2 bedrooms.
Parking is a mixed bag. The unit only has 15+ garage spaces for 27 units, there is a years long waiting list for a garage. Parking on the street is problematic due to broadway, and the adjacent bars. My car was struck, and there is at least 2-3 accidents a year in front of the building, however, it is much better than the downtown apartments.
The building was constructed in 1966, so you can imagine, it is 60 ' s construction, and the building doesn't look like it has been significantly remodeled in that time.
Some may wonder why this is a 4 star review. Well management(brockman properties) is friendly and capable. This building is a great apartment for college students, young couples, and/or families needing an affordable place, in a good neighborhood. It may not have all the bells and whistles, but it's not too expensive, and you get some decent amenities, so while it is not perfect, I can't really complain . read more
