I went in with my elderly grandmother to take care of beneficiary services due to my grandfather passing. I flew from Dallas, TX to Chicago Il for 1 day specifically to help my grandmother take care of her banking business. When my grandmother and I came into the branch, Ms. Griffin was very rude to us. She asked what we came in for and when I explained the transaction needed, she stated she couldn't help us. I explained that I was there to help my grandmother and that I am Power of Attorney for her and that I only was in Chicago for a day so I could help her. She then proceeded to tell me that I needed to go to another location. When I asked how come she couldn't assist me, she then started to ignore me. After asking her again why she couldn't help me and she continued to ignore me, I then asked for her name so I could file a complaint. She refused to give me her name. I had to go to one of the tellers and ask them what her name was and what her position was. I have never been so disrespected by a branch manager ever! Simone Griffin was very rude and disrespectful. A few of the other customers in the branch stated that she is always rude and mean to customers. I am absolutely appalled by the service I received from Ms. Griffin. I was so upset, I left that location and went to another Citibank branch. In no way should a branch manager ever carry themselves the way Ms. Griffin did.

I just got off the phone with usbank after an HOUR of trying to close a credit card that this…read morelocation opened WITHOUT my permission. I went in last August to open a checking account. I got the whole run down of the credit card I qualified for blah blah blah. I said NO I DO NOT WANT IT. I already have credit cards and I do NOT need another one. Well, today, I look online and I have a mysterious charge for a credit card on my online account. Turns out that if you go to an ATM and hit "fast cash" and you have a credit card with the bank, it comes out of you credit card. Now most normal people do not use their CREDIT CARD at the ATM they use a CHECK CARD because they believe that the money is coming out of a CHECKING ACCOUNT. I got an extra $10 fee for using this feature I didnt know I had. Planning on getting a new bank, I'm extremely disappointed. Thank goodness their customer service on the phone is so good. They removed the charge and promptly closed the account that I never opened in the first place. Stay away, they seem friendly here but its a hoax. According to US bank customer service themselves, these bankers in the branches get extra money from the commission of you signing up for a credit card (or apparently just sign you up on their own).
