Dr. Jeff Benecchi was awesome, as well as Paula and Bonnie. It was a 2 hour appointment but he worked efficiently and was mindful of my nervousness. Dr. Varinos is thorough, caring, professional, and makes the entire process completely stress-free. Let me tell you a story to prove it. I had trouble with an older crown fitted by a previous dentist no longer at the practice. Dr. Varinos decided--the very first time I met him--to not just re-cement the crown and send me on my way, but to resurface the tooth and fit me with a brand-new crown. He didn't ask for anything but my complete satisfaction. No charge! (I know!) Where I come from here in Winthrop, well, that's just plain good business. He also reworked my night guard as well to ensure it fit properly with the new crown. I decided then and there, THIS is who I want to entrust these 65-year-old teeth to! To top it all off, he's a humble guy who happens to be a legendary, two-time NCAA Division III All-American ace pitcher for the Tufts Jumbos (our very own Jim Lonborg)! On my first visit, they required me to get x-rays, and the person taking them said it was their…read morefirst time doing x-rays. They kept taking multiple shots, apologizing, and struggling to get them right. I really wish someone experienced had been supervising them until they actually knew what they were doing. I had a very negative experience at this dental office. I came in asking for one-piece crowns to match what I already had, but instead they gave me four separate crowns that did not fit properly and did not match the shade of my teeth. I also felt pressured into agreeing to four root canals and four crowns because I have MassHealth and was told I would have to pay out of pocket if I waited. It felt like they were using my insurance situation to rush me into treatment. When I complained about the wrong shade, they blamed me and said the shade had to be checked in proper light, so they made me go out into a brighter hallway. Even after that, the crowns still were not right. When I went back to have them removed, the assistant initially tried to remove my actual tooth instead of the temporary crown, which was alarming. During that visit, the power went out, and this office did not even have a generator, which made the whole situation worse since they rely on electricity for dental equipment. The dentist was also rude to me and to his assistants, who barely spoke English, and he seemed to blame me whenever something went wrong. The whole experience was uncomfortable, disorganized, and stressful. I will never go back to this office. The only positive part of my visit was the two front desk workers, Anna and Carla, who were very kind and professional, so the one star I'm giving is for them. Unfortunately, there were several other issues as well, but I didn't want to make this review too long.

Dr Centrella took a lot of time out of his day to explain the correct way to care for my teeth. He showed me different techniques and made it simple for me to follow the same steps at home. His team is fantastic. The hygienist went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable while taking x-rays of my mouth and throughout my visit. The office manager found the best, most affordable way to me to pay for the visit found a quick time to come back, that aligned with my schedule, and made sure I had the antibiotics and pain medicines to recover while working. I am extremely impressed and will not be looking for another dentist! You will not regret going to see Dr Centrella and his team.

If you didn't give a deal to begin with you wouldn't have to come collect. Maybe you should charge what is needed and disperse any credits or carry it over instead of running the business like a drug deal... Then for being the decent person I am to pay what I "owe" for their own dunce of front desk they repeat your card number out loud over the phone for everyone to hear. Pay attention to all the negative reviews here because they are true and there is nothing that would ever have me return here.
