Little did I know what a nightmare this would spiral into. Before he even started he mentioned drinking baileys in coffee as he belched it up, I should've known better and left right then and there. After the surgery (which took numerous times to numb me) I was seemingly fine but when the crown came in that's when things went south fast. The first crown I told him it was way too big to fit. Instead of pulling it out and agreeing with me he insisted it should fit and instead sanded down my perfectly healthy top teeth that I will now need crowns for. It took over 6 visits to finally receive a crown that fit and even then it looked like a freaking marshmallow! I cannot believe he thought this passed as good work at let me go home!! This is insane for how much I paid, I received below suboptimal work! The other staff that works there were very nice and apologized to me repeatedly due to all the screw ups but there is no taking any of this back. My teeth which were once perfect are now permanently ruined! After a while my crown started hurting, I ended up not going back for fear of further risking tooth destruction. I later went to 2 different dentists to get second opinions bc my crown was hurting so bad. They both literally told me the same thing. Turns out micro instruments had broken off deep in my tooth and along with the gaps he left in the crown it was a perfect recipe for an abscess. My top teeth were sanded down to the dentin, (the yellow part as you can see in the pics). Both other dentists said they couldn't save the crowned tooth and I would need an implant to fix it, and crowns on the teeth that were sanded down. Now on top of the bill I'm still paying Seretis, I'm also paying off the start of a long road for an implant. 8 months for this to be completed due to Dr. Thomas J. Seretis's negligence! Please if you value your teeth do not go to this butcher! Shame on you Dr. Seretis! You told me you love being a dentist but hate mean people, well now I see why so many people are mean to you!

Let me first say that I struggle with posting this review because Dr. Richter is the best dentist…read moreI've ever had. The office staff are always polite and professional. I was getting on the transplant list for a kidney but I needed dental clearance. I contacted a charity called Donated Dental who told me that Dr. Richter will be donating his services. I was blessed that I got free dentures and my teeth pulled. He even found a surgeon to donate his time to remove the one he couldn't. I saw him maybe 5 times for fittings. A year later I received a call from the dentist office saying that they received paperwork for another transplant clearance. I still didn't have medical or dental insurance with my job because I had not paid my first copay. When they called me I assumed that it was under Donated Dental. A couple of day after the transplant clearance I went in for a fitting. When it was over they handed me a bill for almost 7 hundred dollars. I'm on disability and they knew I went through donated dental for help. I dont know why when they called that they didn't let know this was out of pocket The lady who is very nice made me a little intimidated. I tried to explain but she just stared and said nothing. I went into my wallet to give my dental card and prayed it went through. Later that day I got a call saying it wasn't valid. If I had the money I would have paid them because they are so nice. 6 months later I was in court with a lawsuit demanding money. I had my wages garnished but for $1,200. I dont understand how a great thing could go so wrong. I wanted to do something nice for him but couldn't afford it. I instead i wrote a letter to the newspaper who published it. In the letter I thanked him and his staff and the service I would like to think that was a communication disconnect. I thought anything dealing with my transplant was through Donated Dental. First time being sued. I'm not upset but I am disappointed. I dont get it. They knew my situation and still sued. I work part-time and with this pandemic found it hard to keep my head above water. No hard feelings. Being garnished on a part-time job is rough. I would have fought it but between dialysis and working I couldn't defend myself. I hope he reads this and know I never meant to stiff him. I'm not that type of person. Again thanks you Richter Dental. I noticed that they responded to all if the reviews except mine. The reason why is that I totally told the truth and no one will address why they did this to me. I contacted Donated Dental who tried to help me get my money back but wasn't able to because they are the go between. They did look at the paperwork I sent them and saw clear as day that on the sheet for liability, I wrote donated dental. They did encourage me to seek restitution through a Civil suit. Donated Dental says that at no time was i supposed to pay for anything. I would like a response telling me why I was sued and garnished for a service that was supposed to be through charity. 1

An evaluation needed to be done and then he needed to be rescheduled". What is the point of urgent dental care if you can't get any help. So now because it is a holiday weekend if I don't try to find another emergency dentist my son has to wait til next week when a dentist office is open. The Front staff for A and A Dental is ridiculously rude. I wasted two days with A and A Dental…read morethanks to her ineptness. Day 1 I waited an hour only to be told that she could not reach my dental plan...literally blue cross blue shield that has you on hold for maybe 5 minutes...then Ms. Rude states that she will have it ready and rescheduled me. While rescheduling she sates that you can have the procedure done when you come back. On my second visit I still wait 30 minutes, finally get to meet the dentist, who was super nice, only to get back with Ms. Rude that insists that she has to MAIL (yes MAIL) the X-rays and quote to BCBS and I can't reschedule an appointment until they get that back. So either way, I was lied to, they are in the Stone Age for billing from other practices or she's incompetent. Im just angry I wasted another work day to come be screwed over. When I informed A&A of who my insurance provider was, I was told that they never heard of them before and that I would need to obtain a provider number. I called my insurance provider and was instructed to have A&A call them to square away the details. When I called A&A back I was very rudely told that "I don't know anything about that provider". It's a real shame to basically be denied medical service because a receptionist is ignorant of my insurance provider and would not take the few minutes to call my provider to get any information needed. People that interact with those needing medical attention should not be so careless.
