    It was a ROUGH start at this apartment complex. From the day we moved in, we lost hot water for 4…read moredays, the master bedroom closet's metal clothing rack came out of the wall, there were baby and adult German roaches in the kitchen drawers and cabinets. It took 3 months to finally clear the roaches due to apartment above us having an infestation! We couldn't unpack our kitchen, because of it. 6 months later, I begin to spot the same German roaches, but in a different cabinet in the kitchen and now I have spotted 1 or 2 in the bathroom! Pest control has come out 2x and I'm waiting on the 3rd visit -- most likely we'll be dealing with this problem until or lease runs out. It's been a continual problem and I do not recommend this for anyone!! It seems like wherever the infestation is...it's not getting treated and they're just placing band-aides on the issue. The amount of mental anguish and anxiety I have gone through is unreal. So...if you move in here...just get ready for an ongoing German roach issue :) Now, the pool is beautiful and the gym is lack luster...but you are in a good location lol.

Kind, informative. Some nasty biddy with a god complex decided to be less than professional. She claimed to be management. She was beyond rude and unwelcoming. I'd say a bit hostile. We've toured some 20-25 places and everyone else has been kind and cordial. I will definitely not be taking my business here.

What should have been a hopeful and exciting first step into a new home turned into an emotionally and financially devastating ordeal -- all due to the gross negligence, lack of transparency, and outright unethical behavior of the property management team. When I first applied, I was led to believe that Lakeshore Apartments valued customer service and tenant satisfaction. I was shown a unit, told it would be available and move-in ready by May 1st, 2025, and proceeded to complete every required step in good faith. I submitted all documentation, ensured that my funds were available, stayed in regular communication, and remained flexible and respectful throughout the process -- even after being told the unit had an infestation left behind by the previous tenant. I trusted that this issue would be handled responsibly and within the promised timeframe. But it quickly became clear that this wasn't about a pest issue. The real problem stemmed from how my unit was under marketed on their website -- listed inaccurately either in condition or price. Rather than owning up to this internal mistake, management resorted to vague excuses, sudden changes, and misleading information, making it nearly impossible to get a straight answer. I was given the runaround and ultimately left without stable housing for myself and my child. The worst part? That same unit I was told wasn't ready -- due to an infestation and needing deep cleaning -- is now listed again on their website as available for lease. After leading me to believe it wasn't suitable for move-in, they turned around and put it back on the market. That is disgraceful. It's a clear indication that the problem was never truly about the unit's condition, but instead about hiding their error and avoiding responsibility. They breached the lease agreement. Not me. Yet I was the one left scrambling. They manipulated the situation, pushed me out of a contract that I upheld in full, and tried to shift the blame. This was not only unprofessional, it was unethical. The emotional and financial hardship they caused me and my child is something I wouldn't wish on anyone. I have since filed formal complaints and am pursuing legal action. But I also feel an obligation to share my experience so others do not fall into the same trap. No one should be misled, disrespected, or left without housing because of poor management practices and deceptive marketing. To anyone considering renting at Lakeshore Apartments in Altamonte Springs: Do not. What they've done is disheartening and unforgivable. This is not a company you can trust. Their conduct is a warning sign, and I urge you to look elsewhere.

Confusing and they won't answer questions. They're too busy to answer phone, reply to text or emails, unless it's at their convenience. Then misquoted, after I applied and paid. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!! While in office, saw email come in to management titled "Roaches" wouldn't recommend. Not sure if Greystar is abiding by Florida laws.

    Honest Review of Villa del Mar Apartments I rarely leave…read morereviews, but this one needs to be shared. In September 2024, I signed a lease for a studio at Villa del Mar mainly because of the price and location. From the start, the office staff didn't seem very friendly, but I brushed it off and appreciated how quick and easy the leasing process was. Move-in day came a month later, and things went downhill immediately. They never show you the actual unit you'll be renting--just a "model"--which looked clean and fresh. But the unit I moved into smelled musty and mildewy. I also found several dead German cockroaches, and a large hole in the A/C handler area that I ended up sealing myself just to keep more pests out. The wallpaper looked like it had been painted over, with bubbles everywhere. I'm not usually a complainer, so I fixed what I could and tried to move on. Then came the first electric bill--outrageously high. The A/C units are extremely old, and clearly inefficient, but I knew mentioning it wouldn't lead to any improvements. The valet trash service, which you're required to pay for, is terrible. Residents leave trash out all night, attracting animals. Management sends reminders but never enforces anything. One night someone moved my trash bag next to an abandoned car in front of my apartment, and I was the one who got threatened for it. Speaking of that abandoned car: it sat right in front of my door for months with a flat tire, and despite my repeated complaints, management did absolutely nothing. Move-out day couldn't come fast enough. While packing, I found signs of more German cockroaches inside my electronics--disgusting. The building clearly has a serious pest issue. After inspection, I thankfully got my full deposit back... but actually receiving the check was another nightmare. They claimed it got "lost in the mail" twice. It took 75 days and me filing a small-claims notice before they finally sent my money. Overall, I would not recommend this place to anyone. Stay away. The complex has potential, and I will say they offer community activities and communicate regularly with residents. But the owners seem to do the bare minimum to keep units rented. They need to repave the parking areas, update the HVAC systems, address the pest problems, and get the musty smell under control. I hope this review helps anyone considering moving here. Writing this was worth it if it saves someone else the frustration.

I do not feel like management really cares about the residents here. We are supposed to have amenities that include 3 pools, a gym, a car wash station, and a tennis court. At any given time, if I go to a pool, it could be locked off with no warning. Same with the gym. I'm trying to work out every day and when I went to the gym today, it was locked up. On a Saturday. No signs. No messages to the community letting us know it would be locked. The gym is also rarely cleaned and I'm not sure how sanitary it is. I'm pretty tired of having to go with the flow of not being able to use amenities I pay for. The car wash station has been out of service for months now. The pools also only have 1 door open at a time for each pool so if you don't choose the right side, you'll have to keep walking around the entire gate, guessing which one is open. Aniyah (in the office) is really nice. So is Zelma and some of the maintenance people. I just feel like another number here and that even if I complain, things aren't kept up. If I call and ask about something nicely, I generally get a response that reminds me that they do not care to help. Aniyah is the exception. She's very nice but that doesn't mean things get done with maintenance.
