Well, the hackberry, they just cut a limb off and said that's what they were contracted to do when I SPECIFICALLY told them I wanted the half completely gone. They offered another estimate to do that. Now mind you this is over a 2 day stretch and I work so I declined the offer and told them I would call someone else that would do what I asked them to do. The total was $2000.00. I am not happy.

They were quick to get us a quote and honest about their timing to get the job done. They were here when they said they would be both times and the entire team is respectful and polite. They left the place as clean as they found it and did a very professional job. I think the pricing was very reasonable and I'm grateful for their kindness, as well as their expertise. They have now cleared out all but one tree on our property, and that one is all cleaned up and trimmed back and looks great. Do not hesitate to hire them! You will not be disappointed!

I had paid Joe, the owner of Falling Timbers $1500 to have both a pile of dead trees AND 2 fallen…read moretrees to be removed/transferred to my backyard. There's a document that I signed which agrees to that. After transferring the 2 trees from my side yard to my back yard, Joe claimed that there was a ditch about 5-6 ft deep with a bunch of dead trees and debris near the pile of dead trees in my front yard. He proceeded to say that he needed to charge me another $1500 if I ALSO wanted to get all the trees out of that ditch and have everything burned at the same time. I agreed to this without further research because I just wanted all of these dead trees off my yard. He said he would be back to take care of the trees the following week but he never showed, giving excuses about how we needed a burn permit which I discovered we didn't need one since we lived outside of city limits. I finally managed to get him on the phone while he was "going out of town" and requested for half of the $1500 to be credited towards burning my trees which he has declined. Needless to say, he has also conveniently failed to transfer the rest of the dead tree pile from my front yard to my back yard. As you can see in this picture, majority of the dead pile of trees are still on the ground in my front yard. Thankfully, I've found another tree guy who can burn all these trees for $800-$900, including the dead trees in the ditch. Beware of unethical and shady business tactics of Falling Timbers!! I would rate Falling Timbers a fat "0" if I could!

Unreliable and unprofessional…read more We just bought a house in East Nashville. Christopher Price came out and looked at our five trees - one of which is laying on an electrical wire, so time is of the essence. We made a plan to eliminate the danger, plus do a full day of trimming and nutrient injections. He seemed to really care about our trees and we were excited to work with him, even though the scope and the quote were beyond what we had initially planned on spending. What followed was three weeks of unfulfilled promises, excuses, and constant prodding on our part to get communication. We're relatively easygoing, but he committed to doing work for us, and then wouldn't send us a contract or set a date so it was super frustrating. As another reviewer said - if you don't have time for us or don't want to work with us, just let us know that so we don't waste our time. Three weeks later, I now have to start the hunt for a vendor all over again. It shouldn't be this hard to find someone who respects a client's time, especially when that client intends to pay you almost $2,000.
