The day (or week) I was there they were running a special for "fermented fries"?... While I was…read moresampling some beers in the tap-room/gift shop the young lady helping me recommended I try these... And I did, and they were absolutely fantastic. One of the best meals I had in Europe - really! The texture of the the fries was perfection. Delicious, and they did not leave you feeling full or gross which is sometimes the "after affect" of eating fried food. I did not have anything else from the menu to eat, they had a limited menu but everything they had looked delish!!!! Aside from the food, I had 3-beers I think while I was there. The pilsner and and ipa were definitely in there. Everything was phenomenal. It's a very nice brewery, very clean, smooth and tight. Outstanding across the board.

They sell half and full glasses. Since they have two sours on tap, I ordered half glasses of both the passion fruit sour ale and the raspberry one. Were they my favorite? No, but they were good and I appreciated their presence on the menu. The space itself is massive with a large taproom, an area to buy cold packs of beer and outdoor seating at long tables. They also have wifi, which is very helpful for tourists.

It's…read moreone for beers geeks looking for craft beers on tap and keen to keep away from the Tuborg and Carlsberg that dominate touristy bars. It really is worth the trip, not far from the nearest metro stop it best described as a grainy hipster bar where 99% of the clientele are locals. There are retro pictures on the walls and bicycles hanging from the roof. Apart from that it is pretty basic with no fancy edges, just a chalkboard with 10-ish craft beers from across the globe on tap. I had an amazing IPA from New Zealand which is one of the best beers I have had on this trip to Copenhagen. Definitely worth a look if you like new beers and want to get of the beaten track. (Sadly no wi-fi though)

I was dragged here after a hearty meal at the Ethiopian restaurant on the same street further down Nørrebrogade and this place is just perfect. I like that there are more and more craftbeer bar in Copenhagen that gives no excuse to drink a bad beer. They have their beer list on the blackboard by the bar and you could get a taste of what you will order, and since it's called Ølsnedkeren, they make their own bottled beer as well. Too bad I had to hurry home because I was drinking on a Wednesday, but I would definitely come back to this place again.

A number of high top tables and some comfier seats arranged with some privacy and a "nook and cranny" sort of thing. Comfy! A dozen taps with the usual sorts of beers. Taplist is very decent, although not that adventurous, they have the usual names on the list, and some really good beer list. There was Rasputin from De Molen brewery when I was there, a very good stout. Another plus for the bar is probably that they have a stack of board games you could borrow, and that there is a "mini" bottle shop, stocked with some Belgian beers and selections of Amager Bryghus. Service is top-notch, there's nothing I can't complain. I feel that the target for this bar is just for people who want to try different beer out, without having to mingle with snobbish beer nerds like in "more serious" places like Mikkeller or Taphouse nearby. It's good "entry-level" bar so to speak and the location in Strædet is also perfect for tourists to sample how "hygge" and "beer" can be combined.

Popped in exclusively for drinks, so can only comment on the environment mostly…read more Such an interesting spot! We asked for their wine varietals and they essentially were re-filling most wines so we were told they had 1 white and 1 red-we ordered one of each. The wines themselves were very fine. However, once you leave the ordering area you realize how cool the area is. The bar overlooks a dock that people have surrounded around in various swim gear. If you plan ahead well enough you can easily go swimming and have a lovely glass of wine. If not, like us, then sit by the dock and enjoy the weather while drinking your glass of wine. We didn't venture into any of the food but really cannot emphasize how much we wished we could lounge further from a swimming standpoint! A lovely stopping point especially if you're on the way to Copenhill.

While exploring the industrial part of the city, I stumbled upon this tiny cafe along the water with a sauna attached to it. Wow, I'm glad I did! The cafe is no-frills, but leads down to a dock where you can enjoy your food, making for lunch with a view. Inside the cafe, you can order cocktails in a can, pastries and lunch from a small menu. For around $15, I ordered a cocktail in a can, pumpkin soup and a bowl of bread with olive oil. The bread was the best I has all trip and the soup was the best I've had ever! Service was fast, efficient and the price was much more affordable compared to many restaurants in Copenhagen. Although there's no wifi, this is still a must-experience.
