I bought a bottle simply bc it was good and I'd had it before. She was borderline rude and didn't make the experience fun at all. The wine is great, hands down. Their reisling is lovely and can be found at select BC Liquor stores as well. The view is beautiful and if you have the chance to visit, attend Light Up The Vines in late fall.

We had reservations for a wine tasting on July 3, 2020…read more When we arrived there was only 1 other table with a party of 4 having a wine tasting. We were escorted to a large table able to accommodate 6 but it was just the 2 of us. When the woman who was doing the presentation arrived she was wearing a mask and said that she would stand further back than the end of the table because of concerns about corona virus. She asked us which wines we would like to sample and she went go get the first wine. She then poured us bit for tasting, quoted the description that was on the sheet and disappeared. She had no other tables that she was doing tastings for. She was doing other chores as there were no other customers that she was taking care of. She came back after 5 to 10 minutes poured the second wine, again basically quoted off the printed sheet and took off again. By the time she came back the 3rd time we were listening to the man who was conducting the tasting at the other table as he had actively engaged the customers and was giving the kind of information that I had hoped to have on our wine tasting, especially since we did require a reservation. Our server was trying to get our attention so she could do the final pour and she seemed rather put out that we were listening to someone who actually had something to say. We did buy a bottle of gewürztraminer since it is one of the few gewürztraminers that my husband enjoys. We were in and out and the other table that was there before us were still enjoying their wine tasting experience. We have gone for wine tastings at Wild Goose many times in the past and have never had the experience that we had this time. We did not feel at all welcome and felt like we were treated as if we had some incurable disease. If an employee is uncomfortable with doing wine tastings (understandable) because of corona virus they should be assigned another job until there is a cure for covid.

Rachel who was helping us through the wine tasting was too assertive and not welcoming. She might be best in the back room filling in the orders and limit her customer engagement. It was not only Rachel though that was a turn off as the couple two tables over also had a poor experience. This lovely couple wanted to take in scenery and enjoy the experience, sadly they're attendant was also rushing along their first selection; they immediately left. Customer service is significantly lacking and the clear parking lot should have been our first indicator. Get rid of Rachel and maybe give some customer experience lessons to the younger lady as a teachable moment. The wine wasn't that great either as it is overshadowed by the arrogance and micro aggressions.

The symbolic behind the name "Mocojo" is a pretty cool story that you can hear about as well. The cutest little farm to table patio restaurant on the way to Naramata!!…read more I came here for lunch on a Friday afternoon and this was the most serene patio with a beautiful atmosphere and delicious food. I had the prosciutto with a side of bread and it was to die for. We also tried the pasta and ciabatta sandwich. All was great and you could really taste the freshness of the ingredients. They even grow their food right on site. For dessert we had the lemon tart and espresso ice cream. The lemon tart was the star of the show, not too tart not too sweet. We were seated quickly and our server was attentive and helpful. There was even a little dog going around to greet the customers!! One thing to note is that they do not take reservations, so I would recommend getting there early to ensure a table. Overall great experience and I can't wait to come back.

We visited here twice during our trip to Penticton and, both times, the folks who worked here were so friendly and helpful. They had what we wanted - and more! - and the prices were comparable to anywhere else. They had a well-stocked cold room, and tons of ciders and wines. (It's cool to recognize so many of the wine labels as being locally grown here in this area! You could visit most of these vineyards and go for tastings. We love that!). We liked how pristine clean this store was, how well laid-out it was, and also that they have extended hours of operation (9am-10 pm every day). And since it's in a strip mall, there's lots of parking, right by the door (which is handy if you have a heavy load of bottles or cases you purchased!). Note: the website for this store is angryotterliquor.crs (for some reason, Yelp doesn't recognize this website. But it's legit!).
