Great place for Birthday party. They make the Birthday person feel special. The food is hot fresh and very reasonably priced.

I remember in both elementary and middle school my friends and I used to go here. The staff was…read morealways pretty rough here and disrespectful to absolutely everyone. It was to a point where my mom would not leave me and my friends alone here she would stay to make sure that we weren't being disrespected by staff members. You can even see on the Google reviews they were always yelling at children and talking down to people degrading them. My real problem comes in with the owner or previous owner Daniel. What happened 5 years ago when I was 12. I would go as far as saying, I was harassed by him, and he started to hate campaign against me to his staff. so what happened was he had this area section off, and it was only being restricted by a chain that was attached two column walls. One of my friends had tripped over this, and that caused part of the wall to fall off with the chain. It was a very clean break and a very small chunk of wall. It probably only would've took some basic home repair glue or whatever to fix it. The owner started yelling at everyone who was crowding the area seeing what happened. I don't even think he asked my friend if she was OK. This resulted in us being very embarrassed and upset, and especially me because I knew that my mother and my parents had been giving this place a lot of money at that point. We had bought several pairs of rollerskates off of them and rollerskate bags. We had come basically every Friday. Bringing in money every Friday. So even 12-year-old was like if this is how you're gonna treat a paying customer I'm gonna leave a bad review. Of course, my bad review when I was 12 was probably not very helpful and it was probably exaggerated. The day after I made the review, I did end up deleting it because I felt bad and my friends had also made bad reviews, but none of them faced the hatred that I faced when I came back to the skating rink. when I came back, Daniel the owner yelled. What are you doing here? I was like I deleted the review and I just want to skate like normal. With the skates that I bought off YOU. And bag I bought off YOU DANIEL! he should appreciate that we were such loyal customers, I understand 12-year-old me might've made a mistake and he's allowed to allow whoever he does or doesn't want in his establishment. My mother was with me and tried to talk to him, he would not allow me to even step foot in the skating rink, but he let my mom go into a private room with him where she told me that he just yelled at her so she left. I believe he took her in the privacy to yell at her because he knew that he would be stopped if he did it in public. When a review is deleted, you have nothing to be mad about anymore. It's gone. And your customers are back so why are you mad? this is not good business. I am only 5 feet and 100 pounds, and I was probably even smaller when I was 12 because I'm 18 years old now and I know I'm right for this bad review. I cannot be guilt tripped into deleting it ever again. my size is relevant to the rest of the story because he had this big guy when I tried to enter the room, I think I was just trying to go with my mom. But he had this big guy, literally go chest to chest with a child. This man was pointing me out and not even saying anything to me, but "out". Daniel, you put 12 year-old me in danger by separating me from my mother I could have been kidnapped and you know the type of people besides kids that come to skating rinks. they don't have stellar records let's just say that. to me it just sounds like Daniel was a big coward because I know he wouldn't have yelled at my mom or me if my father was there. My father wouldn't have allowed it and he wouldn't have done it with another man in his presence. Who was not below him. His staff is below him so they have to listen. Daniel is lucky that we stopped my father from going over there. I would call this harassment and a hate campaign, I would say it's harassment because he brought my mother into a private room to yell at her. That is in intimidation and very threatening to my mother. He intimidated me with that large man, even though he never needed a large man to do that he just could've told me stay out of there. To me the fact that he turned his staff against me too, was a hate campaign because I was friends with those people. And all of his staff just seemed like they had turned against me. Keep in mind the review had been deleted. I had apologized and his customers had all come back, so there was really nothing to be like this about. He knew we were loyal customers.

Nothing will ever compare to my childhood Jellybeans skating rink, but this sure gets the job done!…read moreIt's small but the right size if you're looking for a chill spot to skate and get some energy out. They don't have roller blades for rent btw, so if you prefer those you might want to get your own. They have a few arcade games, a good spot to hang up bags, lots of seating, and concessions. They're also pretty cheap ($10 admission if I remember right) and you see a variety of different people there of all ages. I'm a college student and this is my favorite nearby spot to get some fun exercise alone or with friends! Staff is also super friendly and helpful. Be mindful that there is no AC, which isn't a problem in cooler months but if you plan on going in the summer be prepared with lots of water and wear breathable clothes! Only open on the weekend which is sad but understandable.

The right mix of a family friendly activity that still feels fun and exciting for the kids. DJ does a great job of mixing it up so that there are plenty of slow skates, fast skates, etc. and everyone gets a chance to chill. The staff was really easy to work with for the party and it's affordable to have a group there. A quote from one of the birthday party guests (age 8): "Today was the best day of my life. I really love skating with my friends." Keep doing what you're doing, Skate World. We hope you do it for a long time to come.

And they kept saying no outside drinks I went up there & explained my son is autistic its fine for us to buy drinks here but u don't have anything he will drink. So they finally said it was OK. But even after they were full aware of his diagnosis. They kept coming over and complaining. Telling some of my family to make him wear his clothes right ect. They r definitely not a place to go if u have anyone with special needs. The woman there was very rude. We could not enjoy ourselves for the fact every so often they would tell us something else. Very disappointed.(updated since managers comment.) That is the story u want people to think. Not really the facts. I do want to hear the audio of all calls made with the host of the party. And see if any of that is true, as I wasn't the 1 on the phone but was told by host that u told her that they were drinks there but never specified we had to buy drinks there. It says no outside food or drinks,( I myself didn't not see a sign) but u told them they could bring their own food for the party. So who would have thought u couldn't bring drinks too. But as for my son he doesn't speak so I am the only 1 who can sign to make him understand. U were told of his diagnosis. And @ no time did he have his thing out. Do not try to make it look worse than it was. He had his shirt around his neck, and yes it did show some of his underwear. The people I came n contact with had no problem with him after I told them he had sensory problems. And if u had any knowledge at all about sensory disorders u would know most of them love flashing lights ect. Its very stimulating and calms them down. Know ur facts before trying to tell me where I should or should not take my child. It seems like u were the only 1 that had a problem with it. And if someone did complain. I'm sure they would have understood if u would have explained it . And if not u should have came to me. Not others that couldn't get him to understand. The whole situation was handled horribly. And if it were a private party which it was supposed to be, there wouldn't have been any others there.. to begin with.. we did talk to the other party outside. they told us they were supposed to have a private party too,, that u called them and asked to move up their party as well,, without informing them there would b another party..
