Pre-made salmon sandwich w/lettuce & tomatoes for under 10 Euros.

Quaint cafe with a second floor, the Brioche Doree is an ideal place to get a quick bite to eat + coffee whenever shopping or taking a break from touring on Champs-Elysees. The cafe seems to be to French custom in having sandwiches pre-made & then heated/pressed, baguettes or not. The downstairs level is usually crowded daily, yet the upstairs has a decent amount of seating available (provided that a card game isn't ongoing). Customer service is pretty good, and the environment seems to be pretty festive. A good spot altogether, and reasonably priced.

La Brioche Doree is a chain with this location right on Champs Elysees. We even have one in Chicago but it's definitely not as good as it's counterparts in Paris. I think it's a great place to pop in for some pastries or breakfast or just get a break from all your shopping! My friends and I went here a few mornings for something quick for breakfast. I loved their double chocolate chip muffin, mmmmm. My friends enjoyed other pastries and sandwiches. They have ovens upstairs so you can heat your meal prior to eating if you wish to do so. It's a quick place to pick up some grub a step above McDonald's.

This is a chain so nothing fancy, great place to stop for quick eats. This location is very close to the Arc de Triomphe so it's a convenient stop for a tourist! We ordered croissants, brioche (I think that's the name for it), and hot tea. The croissants were great, the brioche, on the other hand, not so much. Tea was average. Service was good, and we were served very quickly. Also, despite not speaking English, the servers were quite good at serving tourists, so again, great stop for a tourist! Overall, should be obvious that the food quality isn't the best but the main offering here is convenience and speed - good place to stop for a quick bite!

This is the place for sandwiches in Paris. Be adventurous and try something like the salmon.

The wait to be seated was long, which may turn away many people. However in my opinion all good…read morethings are worth the wait! This was no exception. From the moment you are taken back to the whole dining experience to when you leave you feel a certain way that you really can't put a price on. Maybe its the stunning decor or the immaculate service perhaps even the food but actually i think it may be the whole experience in itself. Want to get treated like royalty, then do yourself a favor and add this location to your list! That omelette may look plain but i promise you it was one of the fluffiest omelettes i have ever tried. The bread service was spectacular and the hot chocolate compared to many of the other viral places. Now for my romance girlies that enjoy great photo ops, this place has so many! Even a mirrored staircase perfect for photos! I came here to celebrate my birthday brunch and I believe it to be a great place for any special occasion!

THE FOOD ------------------…read more+ THEEEEEE gold standard for macarons in Paris ... or anywhere for that matter. + Macarons here are a little crisp, a little pillowy softness and a whollllllle bunch of flavor. - It cost a pretty penny (about 3 Euros for 1 piece), but you won't regret it for a second when you bite into one of these addictively delicious treats. THE SERVICE ----------------------- + All class, top notch white glove service - literally - they handle the macarons with much care like it were gold! THE SURROUNDINGS ------------------------------------ + Located in the heart of the Champs-Élysées on Rue Lincoln, so, YES, it is busy like rush hour outside ... and inside. + There are 2 sides to this massive flagship location - you can either make a purchase of macarons at their store OR dine/sit down in their tea house. Both have lines to wait on, but making a purchase only takes about 10 minutes on a weekend, while dining in looks like an unimaginable wait! + The store to make a macaron purchase at has 3 tables to sit around to enjoy your purchase of delicious macarons. You MUST catch someone about to leave (like we did) in order to snag a table. RANDOM OBSERVATIONS ------------------------------------------- = Expect waits on a weekend afternoon, especially to sit down in the tea room. If you just make a store purchase, it's only about a 10 minute wait ... and you'll be thanking your legs for that. = It's a tourist destination in itself, so expect LOTS of people taking photos of this location. CONCLUSION ----------------------- = Yes, I'm from the tri-state area and they've had a Laduree in NYC since 2011, but there's alwayyyyys something special about going to one of the originals and this spot is no different.

Pierre Hermé If you…read moreknow Pierre Hermé from social media and all the viral videos, then this review needs no introduction. But if you haven't, this is a strong contender for worthy macarons in Paris and at a convenient location across the street from Ladurée. Located inside L'Occitane in the most gorgeous floor space ever, you will find Pierre Hermé at the center of it all. They have an impressive array of flavors that were much more unique than other patisseries. I definitely asked for a few recommendations as well since I tend to order the same thing (pistachio, raspberry, lemon, etc.) The workers were very kind. They indulged my request to converse in French and corrected me in a respectful and endearing way (I know some people get upset at this idea but I personally prefer it.) I had ordered a dozen macarons but truthfully would've ordered the entire lot if I wasn't alone and especially if I wasn't already taking a ton of sweets back for my flight home. I am a Ladurée purist and what I can say is that Pierre Hermé definitely had the best and most unique flavors compared to the two. The prices are fairly comparable and the coffrets are just as tasteful. Both are strong contenders and worthy of your money. I certainly will be returning and look forward to trying the rest of their selection. (15/50--2025)

Okay okay...I know Pierre Hermé is a super touristy macaron shop, and the Pierre Hermé on Champs…read moreElysée is probably the MOST touristy you can get, but I can't help but give this place five stars. Pierre Hermé is home to some of the best macarons I've had in my life -- which is probably too many for the good of my health -- and I was thoroughly impressed by the quality of the macarons, the staff's attention to detail, and all the unique flavors this shop had to offer. As a popular macaron shop in one of the hottest tourist destinations in Paris, this location is undeniably crowded. There's usually a huge line circling around a central display of macaron after macaron. The line looks pretty intimidating, but it moves quite quickly, and there are so many flavors that it'll probably be helpful to have a bit of extra time to review the menu. My friend and I split a pack of four macarons, including their seasonal isapahan (rose, lychee, raspberry), infiniment praliné pistache, and a jardin de cassandre (red currant, rhubarb). The macarons were delightful. I loved the two seasonal items; they were delightfully fruity and slightly floral, and I loved the slightly tangy flavor from the raspberry in the isapahan and rhubarb / currants in the jardin de cassandre. The praliné pistache was nice and nutty, and the inner cream offered a great additional richness. It's usually super crowded so seating tends to be quite limited. My friend and I ended up taking our macarons to go and enjoyed them elsewhere as we toured Champs Elysée.
