I was a little skeptical of all the 5-star reviews. But after my first session with Dr. Vijayakumar…read more(aka Dr. V) today, I'm enthusiastically joining the 5-star parade. In less than 30 minutes, Dr. V listened to me, examined my foot, diagnosed the problem and fixed it. He carefully cut out some deep and very hard callouses (caused by a lot of hiking in fairly rough terrain), with the immediate result that I could walk without pain or a limp for the first time in weeks. Just as importantly, he gave me a lot of practical advice about various things I can do to prevent a recurrence. And he assured me that, if there is a recurrence, I can readily schedule another appointment with him to fix it again. I only wish all medical problems were this fixable, and all medical practitioners were this competent. Hooray for Dr. V!!! I enthusiastically recommend him for treatment of your foot problems.

My dad is 82 and needs his toenails clipped regularly. He missed his last appt so today his nails were super long. Dr. Huey is incredibly patient and gentle and isn't (visibly) grossed out by my dad's feet and fungus issues. The staff here are also very friendly. I love Dr. Huey's shoe collection. It's much bigger here than the Berkeley office. He says patients just keep giving him shoes. There's some beautiful glass ones, enamel, a recent one from Thailand. And he's not a shoe snob either, there's plastic wind up shoes in the collection too.

When it grew back it was black and bruised. I went to see a primary care doctor and she recommended putting nail polish on it and growing it out. She tested it for fungus as I had suggested, and found it was healthy. So, I polished it each month and left it alone. A year or more went by when I noticed it was growing very thick. I took the polish off and also noticed my nail now looked green! I went to Foot Works Podiatry for a year or more and consistently had my toenails filed, clipped, and used the topical application that they recommended. My nails are healthy now and have recovered. I highly recommend Foot Works Podiatry because the staff is caring and responsive to this sensitive issue and recommend treatments that are effective and get results.

Really disappointed in what a waste of time they were. maybe they are good to use if you have insurance and don't care what the cost is. But they suck if one is just trying to get an accurate out of pocket cost.

I needed a simple prescription renewa that Dr. Abraham prescribed -- and couldn't get a human being at the actual office to handle it. The phone system routes to a call center that can only book appointments. When I asked them to transfer me to the office for a prescription renewal, I was put on hold for 10 minutes and then hung up on. Multiple callbacks got me nowhere, no human, no resolution. I shouldn't have to book an appointment and wait weeks just to get a renewal on a prescription that's part of my existing treatment plan. This is a basic patient care function and the office infrastructure completely failed at it. Dr. Abraham is great, but if you can't reach the office when you have an actual medical need, that's a serious problem. Fix your phone system.

Dr. Shah was not only highly skilled and professional but also incredibly compassionate. She took the time to explain the procedure and made sure my mom was comfortable throughout. The difference is night and day--my mom is now walking without pain for the first time in many years. If you are looking for an doctor who truly cares and delivers results, look no further than Dr. Shah. I also want to extend a huge thank you to Michael, Hazel and the entire staff for being so warm, welcoming, and efficient during our visits. Staff at the walnut creek office might need just a little help on being a bit more friendlier. I didn't experience a problem personally but one of the girls gave my mom a hard time when she needed paperwork for my job. Other than that, the offices are both clean and welcoming . I explained that I could not come in immediately and preferred to try the medication first. I said that if it didn't work, I would schedule another appointment and pay the additional $50 co-pay. I was told that was fine. However, three days later, no prescription was sent to the pharmacy. I am still in pain and have received no follow-up.
