She graciously and patiently gave me guidance along my journey of finding the perfect engagement as I had no clue what I was doing. When, after none of the rings seemed to stand out, she recommended I check my girlfriend's Pinterest page when she wasn't around. BINGO - She had one ring saved and when I saw it, I knew it was exactly her style. Brenda explained everything about the ring to me which led us on our custom ring journey. Being a craftsman hobbyist, I loved the idea of adding my own touch to the ring to make it just a little more personal. Brenda let me arrange the diamonds until we got the perfect layout. My fiancé is absolutely in love with the engagement ring and its uniqueness. I would recommend her to anyone who is looking for an engagement ring, especially if you are looking for a custom one. Thank you so much Brenda and we look forward to returning to you to pick out our wedding bands.

Update, I came to get my ring re-sized (smaller) and a real diamond popped out along the band…read morewithin a couple of days of the ring being sized. I called and asked how much it would cost to replace the small diamond and was told that because the work was done by this location that they would replace the diamond for free. Instead, my real diamond was replaced with a cubic zirconia and luckily, I had a diamond tester at home and was able to bring my ring back for them to replace the diamond and make sure that the diamond that they used was the same as the others. The owner tried to tell me that the rest of my diamonds were actually moissanite, but once I offered to go back home and bring my diamond report of quality and authenticity, he decided that he would replace my diamond with something that would pass the diamond tester. I am honestly still not sure if it is a moissanite piece that actually passes the scan test or if it is a diamond. The metal prongs around the diamond that was replaced are also crushed into place (I'm assuming to keep the diamond from coming out again, but the gold looks genuinely crushed and ruined, feels like a punishment for calling them out). Just sad that all of this happened at all.

It is a tricky piece because the one ring is twisted and the other two are not. Mr Antoun did a brilliant job! It is impossible to tell that the ring was sized and the proportions are perfect. He quoted me $200 for the job and considering the complexity, i found the price fair. Recently a close friend passed and left all of her jewelry to a mutual male friend who had no interest in it. He asked me to sell it for him. Since i was planning a trip to San Antonio, i contacted Mr Antoun and asked if he could help me. He could and did. He was available when i went by his shop and evaluated everything i brought, testing the metals, etc. I feel he gave me a good price for the gold and silver and my friend at home with very happy with the sale. That visit was my first time in Q-Sterling Jewelry. I was impressed with the variety and quality of the pieces he had on display. He is a skilled artisan and knows his business well. Should i wish to add to my collection or have a piece made, i would without a doubt visit Mr Antoun.

The very first thing the sales lady said to us when she looked at it was "well we need to see if this is even real. Then she ask if we'd like to look at some settings. I could not believe she would say something that rude. I worked at Tiffany's in college, and would have never ever said something like that, a) out loud, or b) first, no matter what I thought. We just said no thank you we don't care to look around, took the diamond and left. She seemed truly surprised that we didn't want to continue doing business with her. Maybe she was just having a bad day, but I will not sit foot in there again. We went to Stone Oak jewelers instead and received excellent customer service, education about this beautiful old stone (which they recognized the value of immediately ) a reasonable price, and couldn't be happier.
