Bricks pizzeria is a great place to hang out where you can order pizza, but due to the small brick fire oven, it will take a while to get food. What we were not expecting was the difference in time between one person on the order getting food and another getting food whether it be a salad or a pizza. My family moved to Mahomet just prior to Briks opening, so we were able to try it over and over as they got into their groove. It's always been good but with the expanded menu it's even better. The staff is always really attentive and nice, and it feels like a safe space for anyone who comes in the door. And man that beer cheese with the pretzel is to die for! read more

First off this may be the cutest restaurant I've ever been to, the outside patio is such a fun space and really adds to the experience. The service was very friendly and we got our pizzas very quickly! I got the fire and smoke (I believe that's the name) and it was pretty good! I wouldn't put it as my favorite pizza I've ever had, but it was a ton a food and I left feeling satisfied! I would probably try a different pizza next time I go (and I will be going again). I will say for all my Diet Coke drinkers, this was hands down the best Diet Coke I've ever had. Idk what they do differently but I would convince myself to go here just for a crispy DC. read more

Great food and fun place! Loved the pretzels with beer cheese. We had 3 pizzas and they were delicious.

The staff were very friendly, the beer selection was excellent, and the pizza was decent. The wait time was also reasonable. But, you don't get very much pizza or beer for what they charge. The restaurant interior is laid out like a cafeteria - no bar seating, intimate seating for conversations, or waiter/waitress service. It's a big open space that seems to be optimized for ordering, eating, and leaving. It has an outdoor patio with a children's play area that is probably nice in the summer, and it has large open-air doors that can let fresh air into the indoor area during the warmer months. I would imagine that the patio would be a decent neighborhood hangout spot most of the year. Overall, I would say it's an okay family restaurant that is probably more ambient in the summer, but it's overpriced even by today's standards. read more

IF I COULD HAVE GIVEN ZERO STARS I WOULD HAVE !!!! And I would normally never post but $12 for literally microwaved incredibly small mac n cheese is insane... I am incredible disappointed. This place has so much potential but will quickly give you vibes of an overpriced upscale Chuck E. cheese. Kids are unruly, parents are checked out, and the food clearly was a miss. Pizza would have been good but it never came out even after 1.5 hours. Oh and the manager who seems to be pictured as the owner as well was rude and disrespectful when I expressed my concern for her egregious pricing for poor quality food. "extending our warm hospitality"..... right..... you yelled at me and my partner and was extremely rude. Hate to say it but the lady is a bitch. Her husband who I assume is the other owner calmed her down and was very helpful. But i'm serious this lady has issues and should not be able to communicate with customers. Especially with the whole fake "family and community focus" they flaunt on the site. I agree totally with Ashley's review!! Kids running around unsupervised (and they were the owner's) I felt like I was in a daycare because of little wild kids running around! They mostly outside-which I was glad I didn't want to sit out there as it would not have been enjoyable! The pizza was burnt on the crust and seemed to be doughy in the middle. Not much cheese or other toppings to be a "build your own" and overpriced. A shame the 8" is only for lunch or children...and no exceptions? What restaurant doesn't want to please the customer? Brik's is a unique, fun, lovely place to eat in Mahomet! The building was very well thought out and the outdoor space is so nice as well. It is nice inside, clean and modern. The staff makes sure that you are taken care of as well. The pizza is tasty and the pretzels are incredible, you have to try one! We visited on a Saturday for lunch. Love the building and interior. They did a really good job. The house salad was delicious. The pizza had a really good flavor, except it was undercooked. The middle of the pizza needed to go a bit longer. Ingredients were sliding off. We will try again and ask for it to be crispy and maybe that will help. We ordered two pizzas and one pizza would have been plenty for the two of us and better for the budget. Price is a bit steep for underdone pizzas. read more

we were very excited for this pizza place to open in our town. we have two kids who are GF and DF and they were saying they would be having a GF and DF pizza available. my kids normally have to go without cheese on their pizzas from restaurants but not here. the price is insane but for my kids to have a pizza once every three months like this I can do that. every single pizza though comes out with burnt crust. told that it's suppose to be that way but it overpowers the taste. there isn't a phone number we can call and going in seems to not get a good response to the burnt pizza issue. I'm hopeful they can inquire with the Italian place that made their oven as to what they may be doing wrong, and fix it. the relationship and their popularity will only take them so far. read more

For the last 3 weeks I have (in much anticipation) gone to Briks Pizzeria in Mahomet for dinner. Once, just me and my wife (plus our 4 month old), once with the entire family (8 year old, 5 year old, 2 year old, 4 month old), and once last week just by myself. Each time I have encountered timely service, excellent food (and drink, try the local microbrewery options if you're of age), and most importantly a unique and family friendly environment to forget about my mid week worries and enjoy life (and food) for a bit. It is abundantly clear the staff enjoys serving the local families and have put significant amount of thought into how to make Briks a success. Having space for the kids to move about and play games while I catch up with my wife on her day felt like a dream. To then have delicious and fresh pizza delivered with a smile to our table in a timely fashion only added to the experience. I am thrilled to continue to try new things from their menu (Blaze and Brewmaster have been elite) and to enjoy the community and family friendly environment the owners have gone to great lengths to make available to those who choose to enter Briks. 5 stars!! read more

Don't waste your time and money. Ordered one pizza and it took 45+ minutes to arrive. It was OK, not great. Not much ambiance and service is weak. Prices too high for quality of food and low service. If you want excellent pizza, go to Pizza Antica in Champaign. Much better tasting pizza, faster service, real sit-down restaurant, plus very good salads and gelato! read more

We visited Briks after thanksgiving with family visiting from out of town (6 teen boys and 4 adults). We all loved it! The best part was ordering a bunch of different pizzas to share so everyone got to taste different things. I can not say enough good things about the flavor! We had six pizzas and they were all incredible! Definitely recommend the Fire and Smoke. One of the owners came out half way through just to check on us and see if we needed anything which was really sweet. The whole place just feels really chill and inviting and definitely decked out for Christmas right now! It was crazy cold outside but the patio looked amazing for warmer weather hangouts!
