I got there around 8:30 AM (they opened at 8 AM). I signed in and sat down for maybe 5 minutes before I was seen by Dr. Brittany A. She was extremely polite, friendly and diagnosed me with a Sinus infection and gave me the Z-Pack. A week or so went by and I was feeling a bit better, but nowhere near 100%. On Saturday, I began feeling worse, and had a fever and shortness of breath. My wife drove me back to the Urgent Care on Sunday AM and I was seen immediately. The receptionist (I believe her name was Sarah), took me to get a chest X-ray and to make sure it wasn't a serious matter. She was very polite and made me feel comfortable during the exam. She brought me and my wife into an exam room and waited only a few minutes to been seen by the Physician. Again, I saw Dr. Brittany A., who advised me there was some fluid in my lungs and would treat me for pneumonia. She put me on a breathing machine for approximately 10-15 minutes, which helped me with my breather. Dr. Brittany discharged me with a stronger antibiotic and albuterol (inhaler). Dr. Brittany was again, extremely polite, courteous, professional and really cared about my health. I began feeling better after about five days. Because of the way she treated me (and my wife), I will continue to visit this Urgent Care when I get sick. I am giving this review a 4 not a 5 because one of the assistants was not as personable and kind and caring as the two women mentioned above. Thank you.

How to find a place: You can park in the garage near the Chipotle. There are some stairs on the…read moreleft side of the garage if you are facing the entrance of the garage. Take the stairs up to get to the entrance of the Urgent Care Center. The other way to find a place is to park in the garage and then walk around on the outside of the garage to find the stairs that lead to the entrance of the Urgent Care center. There are signs on the walls that will indicate the Urgent Care Center. Cons: First, they give you forms that are copied from an original that was obviously highlighted so you can't see some of the words. I don't understand why they can't get a clean copy of the forms. Second, the forms are outdated and do not have a lot of room for you to write your medical history, medications, etc. Third, the medical assistant needs more tact in communication. She opened the door and pointed in my direction, but I was sitting around a group of people, so it wasn't clear who she was pointing to. She should have announced the last name of the person. It's rude to point fingers at people. I tried to clarify if she was asking for me to come up, and then, she says yes you. She has very poor communication skills. She does not greet you at all. She doesn't explain the process or what to do after the visit is over. I have managed medical clinics, so I know what I am talking about. Pros: The receptionist seemed proficient. The place is clean and seems organized. The wait is usually not that long, but you can always call ahead to see how long the wait is. The physician assistant seemed proficient and was friendly. As with any medical visit, always call ahead to confirm if they take your insurance and bring your ID and insurance card(s), a list of your current medications, medical conditions/history, and other names of your other doctors to make it easier. I would visit them again to give them another chance if I ever needed Urgent Care again. I hope they use this feedback to improve.

My sib is a shy person, and recognizing this, the staff facilitated her meeting other residents that they knew she'd get along with. The facility has a very homey rather than institutional, feel to it. There are plenty of planned activities that residents are encouraged to take part in. A special shout-out to the nursing staff for their professionalism and for being quick to respond whenever I had a question or issue. The peace of mind I got, knowing that sis was being well taken care of was priceless.

My parents love the food, they get help with their showers, and the caregiving team truly looks them over to make sure everything physically is going well. (One caregiver found my moms leg swollen and it was discovered she had a blod clot.) Had it not been for her looking out and paying attention to the leg change this could have turned into a stroke. I'm positive this would not have been caught at the other place I had my parents. I have been a nurse almost 40 years and thought I had an excellent knowledge of what is done in the home. They actually participate in Clinical Research for Mayo Clinic which I was able to participate in - I had never done anything like that before. I have also given many injections of medications that were new o me as they provide care for many orphan diseases. So seems like you can teach this "ole gal new tricks." I would normally give one star based on my experience overall, but I am giving two stars because the OT Jamelle and the PT Kelly were wonderful with my dad and providing family training. I myself am a healthcare worker and I'm aware of what the services should entail. They are clearly vested in their businesses bottom line, not patient care. My dad was seen by an licensed PT for the initial evaluation and the he was then assigned to a PTA, who was very nice, but would've done absolutely nothing with my dad other than sitting in chair doing leg exercises, had I not requested she work on functional tasks performing sit to stand, walking with his walker and assessing if he could do stairs as he was independent and able to climb 14 steps prior to his recent hospitalization. Furthermore when the PTA did come she was only there for usually 30 mins max. As other people had noted in the reviews, and where I think the problems stem from, are the higher ups the branch manager and above. They did an awful job in scheduling caregivers and abysmal communication/responses when reaching out to them. Sadly this organization he really declined and I would not recommend them for any home health services.
