At least two lawsuits are pending against the place, and there is a long laundry list of complaints and violations. Do a GOOGLE search and type in Embassy Manor Abuse and read about the disgraceful history of this place...as well as the reviews on its FB page...and then decide if this is a place where you want to send a loved one....

My nurses who cared for me most everyday was Lio Delgadi on the day shift Sheila Lucien in the evening. They were the most attentive and truly caring nurses I could ask for. I also must mention the Director of Nursing Regine Louisne. She made sure I had everything I needed to get well ASAP. The rest of the staff was great, the Physical Therapy staff was on point daily, and although I didn't think I needed it, I found that after being laid up a total of 5 weeks including my hospital stay prior, it made a noticable difference in my strength and energy. The food was good and available more often than I would normally eat at home... so I gained a few extra pounds. By the time she'd been at Brandywine for a couple of days, she started wearing her earrings and lipstick, nice clothes, and after a month, the improvement in her was remarkable. She has made friends and plays bingo every day, and she loves Biscuit, the Brandywine rescue shih-tzu. The staff is wonderful, caring, and supportive, and there is always enough staff to attend to an emergency. They keep great track of their seniors' whereabouts, and if she needs, help is just a push of a button away. Not only is my mom much happier, but we are as well, since we're not worried about her all the time. I highly recommend this beautiful place.
