Last year, the NJ Health Department fined the place for gross understaffing violations; the former administrator was dismissed, as was a nurse, who is also under investigation by the NJ State Board of Nursing..for violating patient privacy laws...her incompetence led to officers from the local police department being dispatched and an elderly patient (92 years old) being compelled to temporarily leave the facility on a frigid night in the middle of January. At least two lawsuits are pending against the place, and there is a long laundry list of complaints and violations. Do a GOOGLE search and type in Embassy Manor Abuse and read about the disgraceful history of this place...as well as the reviews on its FB page...and then decide if this is a place where you want to send a loved one.... read more

I decided to bring back my mom to embassy manor and i am very happy with their care. They have good food always clean . Their recreation department is the best . Manisha is always so nice and they share with me how my mom is doing . I would definitely recommend my friends and family for short term or long term care there. I got to know about the volunteer opportunity at Embassy Manor and signed up my daughter as junior volunteer. This is a great opportunity and she is really enjoying it. Staff is very friendly and providing the great care not only to the residents over but also to the volunteers. She is very happy to be part of this experience and helping provide the care for elderly. She enjoyed playing games like Bingo, serving tea etc. read more

I have been with a friend that has been here since February 2023. I have appreciated work with Valleri Patel in the beginning and now with Minal Patel. Very pleasant and kind ladies. They are always willing to help me. I also appreciate the care and concern my friend receives from Georgianan Manu. She always take time to talk to me about her care. Very pleasant and caring. After searching awhile for a Chinese nursing facility, we finally decided on Embassy Manor for my mom's skilled nursing care. There were a lot adjustments for my mom since she is immobile. Upon arrival , staff was friendly and lead us to my mom's room. The Chinese speaking coordinator, Ingrid, was very helpful and caring. When we have any issues, she listened and address our concerns to the best of her ability. Nurses Georgia, Millie, Patrick are very attentive and caring. Many times we need directions and instructions, we went to Minal and Vallari; they gave us lots of guidance. Administration, Jose and Charles, is very responsive. They also address to any of our concerns promptly. Medical staff is superb. They always on a nurse practitioner on site. I want to give 2 thumbs up for Ruby NP. She responded to my mom's needs immediately. Overall, Embassy Manor has meet my mom's nursing care expectation. read more

My mom seethalakshmi joined Embassy Care. She is disabled and cannot go even to bathroom. The assistance and care given is phenomenal. Special mention to Valarie, Minal and Dr Thukaram. The staff are extemely friendly and doing eventhing possible to reduce the pain and depression of my Mom. I am really thankful to the team for going over and beyond in celebrating, telcasting of all cultural pujas which definetely keeps my mom very happy read more

The absolute WORST!!! 85+ year old mom had her hip replacement replaced. That means the original steel ball and socket that screwed into her thigh bone was unscrewed after cutting her hip open and pried out and the socket replaced in her pelvis and a new ball screwed onto her femur. Then she was stapled back up. She has arthritis and fibromyalgia etc and was already taking a mild opioid BEFORE surgery. After surgery it was determined at the hospital by her medical team she needed a stronger opioid. Well when she was transferred to Embassy Manor they decided they'd just cross ALL the pain meds off. I've been battling for 36 hours now and the doctor has finally reinstated the prescriptions yet the pharmacy at this facility has not filled the script. That's 36 hours with NO pain pills after such invasive surgery!!!! When she originally transferred she couldn't even eat because they wouldn't give her her pancreas medicine! read more

This place is a disgrace! They don't record your checks you send in the correct amount. They document lower amounts in their billing than what you actually send them. Chava is the most nastiest person to deal with and is the only person who suppositively handles accounts. They try to get more money than what you acutely receive from social security. They won't meet with you in person and only deal with situations on the phone. They don't answer your questions or work with you to resolve any issues. Chava just yells at you and gets nasty and never corrects her mistakes. When I visit , my dad is never clean, he smells like urine and they don't make sure he wears what he should be wearing. All of these institutions should be supervised by the state of cleanliness!! read more

I was in this place for a month and the nurses were beautiful. The CNA's needs a lesson in attitude adjustment and how to talk to people. They were constantly yelling at patients. So my parents recently were accepted as long term care residents at embassy manor at the end of March. I toured the facility a couple of weeks prior and was welcomed by Minal Ben, Manisha Ben, and Val. My first impression as I was getting a tour of the facility was how nice the staff was to all the residents. All the residents were addressed by the staff as if they were their own family. Minal Ben gave me the tour and explained everyone's daily routine. The fact that I had a chance to admit my parents in a facility that would treat them like their own parents made me feel comfortable and I was convinced was making the right decision. Manisha Ben and Minal Ben constantly reiterated the fact that they will be taken care of! Over the next 2 weeks the admission process was a bit stressful with all the paperwork however Minal Ben kept in constant touch and made this process smooth! She answered all of my questions and gave me all the information I needed to get them admitted. The day we brought them to the facility from Florida we were greeted by Minal Ben and Val! They welcomed my parents with open arms. They helped them get to their rooms and made them comfortable immediately. We got there around noon and the staff brought my parents lunch right away. The head nurse came in right away to do her assessments. Admissions staff had all of my paperwork ready to be filled out and everything was done very efficiently. The fact that I was able to get my parents into a long term care facility that allows them to socialize with people of their culture, language, and allows them to perform their religious activities is a wonderful thing! The first few weeks have been difficult in this transition but the more I speak to my parents the more I'm convinced we made the right decision. I want to thank Minal Ben for her help with this whole process. She has been very patient and informative. I would also like to thank Manisha Ben for her convincing me that I am making the right choice and that my parents will be taken care of as if they were her own. Thanks to Val for taking the time out to show us the facility and in answering any questions we had! I recommend embassy manor if anyone of the Indian culture, or any culture for that matter, is looking for a place to place their loved ones in a long term care facility!! read more
