When our mom was left in a vulnerable situation due to the abrupt shutdown of her previous facility, we were filled with anxiety and concern. She was sent without our authorization to another facility that was over an hour away in heartbreaking conditions. By some miracle we were put in touch with Leslie Yngojo-Bowes, Director of Community Relations, Mae Limusco, Director of Wellness and later with Sharon Moore, the Executive Director who became our ray of hope. Not only did they open their doors when our family was in crisis, but they also demonstrated an unparalleled commitment to ensuring our mom's comfort, happiness and well-being. To detail the outstanding efforts of Leslie, Mae and Sharon would take more than we could possibly express in this review. From the beginning, they have gone above and beyond to make this transition as smooth as possible. Leslie specifically had taken the initiative to manage the process end-to-end from contacting the temporary facility mom was housed with to ensure all necessary files and information were transferred seamlessly, to keeping us constantly up to date with where we were in the process. My father did two respite care stays here, in total around 25 days. The care was exceptional, from…read morethe director, who always had her door open and welcomed conversation, to the memory activities lady who had the tenants laughing or smiling while singing and playing games. My father had advanced prostate cancer and Alzheimer's disease. His nurses were tentative, warm, and always addressed him by his name. I can't say enough positive things about the place. But my favorite shout-out must go to the medical director, David, which I recently learned was promoted to a higher position in the company (so deserved). He was absolutely incredible! He even stayed late on a Friday night (3 hours after he was done working) to get my father back in for a second respite, after we tried taking him home and he ended up in the ER. He spoke with the hospital and took care of all the loose ends. He was always on top of everything! My father passed away, but I am forever grateful of the care Arden Court had shown our family during his brief stay. Thank you!
