During these first two years when our needs were variable, Griswold was responsive and flexible, always finding someone for us when we needed them. We were never left without competent caregivers. The last three years Griswold sent us Robert, who lived in with us. Robert was exceptional - extremely competent, very flexible and responsible, and an interesting and honest person. When we moved out West we tried hard to get him to come with us. During those years from time to time I dealt with Jane and Joe, who own the agency, and with Giselle, their financial person. Giselle was extremely helpful in working out complex billing details with our long-term care insurance plan. Jane and Joe were always there when I needed them. I have heard lots of bad stories about home care agencies. Thankfully, our experience with Griswold was only good. Last year, I had some major medical issues and spoke with Dr. Finkelstein, because Dr. Bialy was out of the country. Dr. Finkelstein actually called me several times and once simply to check on me, so that he could text Dr. Bialy overseas to let her know how I was doing.
