Jason is the AMAZING master electrician behind Optimum Electrical Services. My husband and I were…read moreinitially recommended to Optimum Electrical Services through positive referrals I found within a local, online community group (Suffolk County - Smithtown area). Needless to say, we are ecstatic to have connected with him because it's always great to have a local electrician nearby that can be trusted to provide great services AND who is available to work within a reasonable timeline! Having already met with a bunch of other electricians (whose estimates were unreasonable, whose schedules weren't actually "open," or who simply never responded to us when we reached out or followed up), we found Jason to be a "cut above the rest!". Jason has always greeted us with friendliness and great professionalism. He is a focused worker who also shows patience with inquisitive customers (like me!) I have oftentimes spoken to him while he has been working; he never makes us feel like we are "interrupting;" he openly explains the different aspects of the labor involved with the job and is able to chat and work simultaneously while still being extremely productive! We have welcomed him into our home on several occasions. On his first visit, he installed wiring and mounts for two large (65" and 75") televisions, including the installation of new quad outlets to accommodate the (future) addition of a soundbar. Most recently, he helped us to "say goodbye" to some old, ugly ceiling mounted light fixtures and installed new, wifi-enabled ceiling fans in their place(s). We absolutely love that Jason, since he lives locally, has been available to help us with our projects: within days of our initial call! Lastly, because Jason is fully licensed, he willingly to provided me with a copy of his license as well as a copy of his proof of insurance ("Certificate of Insurance") when I asked for this information. The fact that Jason shared this information so willingly (and without any awkward hesitation) gave us great peace of mind as new homeowners. We wholeheartedly recommend Jason; he truly is an amazing person who offers fair, reasonable prices for his labor and expertise. Additionally, he has always been respectful of our home and cleans up after he works. He even offers to take off his shoes and/or brings "booties" to ensure that people's homes are respected! At the end of each service, he provides the customer with an itemized "paid" receipt, which is sent to the email of your choice! If you live in Suffolk County, definitely consider calling Optimum Electrical Services for your residential electrical needs! He keeps appointments and provides clear upfront pricing, a rarity in my experience. We've used Mr. Electric for a few jobs over the years, including installation of a tricky HVAC remote setup that no one else could figure out. I had a wobbly ceiling fan and Kato fixed it quickly free of charge before he left. Wow I didn't expect that! In this day and age it's not easy to find a straight up professional like Kato. If you need an electrician don't hesitate to reach out to him. We would never use anyone else.

He gave me a free estimate, which you don't always get offered by others. His fees are very reasonable and honest, and he was super dependable. I had 16+ recessed lights to be installed; have 14ft ceilings; and Im in walk up which makes construction additionally challenging. There were multiple moments where Devon showed the highest level of professionalism. For example: (1) showed up both times right on time; (2) brought all the needed materials at the onset of the project; (3) attention to detail and hard work getting a 2 day job done in 1 day; (4) cleaned up after the job and brought all cleaning materials with him; (5) brought a very specific ladder to get up my walk up; and (6) meticulous in upfront walk through to make sure we didn't run into major issues mid-job.
