I am pretty tough, but even after being numbed over multiple times, I could still feel it when dental work was being done. Throughout all of this, Dr. Bland remained patient and continued to check in with me. He could tell if I made a small movement that indicated my discomfort and would see if I needed a break or more numbing relief. The fact that he has people who have been by his side for close to a decade or more really says something about who he is as a person. I called to inquire about making a new patient appointment and the nurse flatly said I can't make an appointment without records from my previous pediatrician being sent to their office first. No biggie, I emailed the old office and they promptly sent over the records. I called 10 business days later to schedule the appointment and was told they don't have the records yet. Weird. I called back twice a week for a month to check. No records. Finally I emailed over my kids immunization records explaining my baby needs to be vaccinated. The nurse emailed back confirming the vaccination records but stated I can't schedule an appointment without the full medical record. I emailed a week later asking if they've received the records yet. She then calls me and says I can't schedule an appointment b/c my kids are behind on thier immunizations and that I should take them to the Health Department to get caught up. After that, I can come into the office for a well visit. So now, after six weeks, I've decided to go elsewhere.
