Super delayed making this review but absolutely loved Bright Ice! Stopped in after dinner and you will not be disappointed by anything you order. The staff were extremely friendly and patient as I had not clue what to order. I ended up getting a scoop of their deepest darkest chocolate secret and a scoop of the marshmallows cookies and caramel. My boyfriend ordered the caramelized bananas with peanut butter and honey and refused to share more than a bite and it was outstanding. The flavors are all made in house and extremely delicious. You can taste the quality and care that goes into the ice cream. As well as the quality of their ingredients. They also sell dessert bars which honestly looked out of this world but we did not have room left. The pricing here is extremely reasonable for the size and quality you get. Parking is tight as it is a few spots right off a main road on either side. But there is a small parking lot a bit further down. There is limited indoor and outdoor seating here but it is a must try if in the area! read more

No real whipped cream - can only. Aside from that, they do have vegan choices. Honestly, they aren't as good as a Van Leeuwen place but at least they have them. Key line was a great flavor for regular ice cream. No clue if they offer real ingredients or corn syrup but it's a clean, fresh location and you get a triangle of cone on the side, which is great. This is a place we'll stop when driving by and craving ice cream but nowhere we've found in the area is somewhere that's dairy fresh fantastic with real whipped cream. Stopped in for a quick treat with my daughter. Bright Ice has creamy and homemade great ice cream. The deepest dark chocolate is overly sweet to me but espresso with kahula was well balanced and really good. Excellent house-made ice cream. We were tasked with brining dessert to my in-laws' house, so we stopped by Bright Ice and bought up some desserts and several pints of ice cream. They have brownies, blondies, and 7 layer cookie bars. Everything was sweeter than I'd like, but my husband loved them all. The ice creams are wonderful. I tried the carrot cake (seasonal) and the roasted strawberry with brown sugar and balsalmic. Both had very smooth texture and were confidently spiced. We also got mint chocolate chunk and coffee toffee, but we're saving those for later. The location is clean and bright, and the people working there are friendly. Bathrooms are also clean and new. This place has some of the most exotic icecream flavors I've seen before! I got the sprinkles and cream flavor and a second scoop with the orange coconut cake! I could BARELY make it to the second scoop because this is real icecream. Super thick, sweet and creamy. I also got a waffle cone with mine which had hints of cinnamon that was delicious. The service was a little slow, the workers there didn't help much or provide recommendations. They allowed samples but only 2. I've been to the St. Pete location before but this one is closer to home and I was in the area so I decided to stop for some of the best ice cream I have ever had. I like that you can sample the flavors. I tried and loved the pineapple with brown butter and pecans before so I picked up a pint to bring home. It is a truly unique ice cream flavor. The texture is a little different from other ice creams because of the real pineapple chunks they use but it is delicious. This time I tried the strawberry with brown sugar and balsamic and the espresso kahlua. The strawberry was good but I didn't really get the balsamic. I went with the espresso kahlua because I love coffee and those bits of espresso bean and chocolate take it up a notch. I also picked up a pint of the mint with chocolate chunks because I know the hubs will enjoy it. Next time I visit a location I am trying blueberry cinnamon and key lime pie. Honestly, I think you wouldn't go wrong with any flavor but I am interested in trying their more unique flavors. read more

Service is so friendly and helpful every time we have been in. I appreciate the suggestions for flavor combos and the chance to taste flavors before making a decision. My favorite so far was the malted dark chocolate. This was a seasonal flavor but it was delicious! Recently tried their white chocolate with malted robin eggs (spring flavor!) and that was yummy too. We visited this location after reading the reviews and menu online. We are grateful that there were vegan/dairy free options available even though there may not be many flavors. I ordered the Vegan oreo Carmel it was good, however it was super sweet. The Carmel flavor tasted like butterscotch. I loved the waffle cones, they were delicious . Words cannot express how elated we are to have a Bright Ice location in Pinellas Park! We consider it both a blessing and a curse that this spot is within walking distance of our home. We have loved the St. Pete location, so naturally we stopped in a few days ago for some pints to take to our family before dinner this past Sunday. The fact that I don't have any pictures to include in my review is a testament to how good the ice cream is since it was pretty much gone in less than 2 days. Some of our favorite flavors include the chocolate cake, the caramelized banana with peanut butter, mint chocolate chip, and the pineapple with brown butter and pecans.
