Karl Sherry arrived on-site the same day as our initial phone call to assess the project scope and develop a fixed price project cost. We agreed (in person) on the project scope of my requirements and Karl's competitive proposal and his recommendations for lighting fixture product selection, layout and wiring clean-up and new construction. I was able to clearly share in advance my project acceptance criteria. We agreed on a same week installation date and time (that was promised that Karl would reconfirm work date/time). Karl Sherry 1) was responsive to my project, 2) obtained and installed guaranteed reliable maintenance-free LED lighting fixtures with ceiling layout recommendations to provide sufficient lumen intensity to eliminate all shadows in the garage, 2) confirmed ARO with me same week)work date/time, 3) worked on high ladders to remove non-compliant wiring and install new equipment per National Electrical Code regulations, 4) mounted, installed, tested and aimed new outside floodlight and security camera coverage/best image) (meeting and addressing all of my requirements using a 'live installation/see the results" discussion with me (that the flood light and camera were positioned from my standpoint), and 5) delivered all material, design and labor on-time related to the proposed service based on our mutually agreed fixed bid format. We requested a documentary style video of the wedding with minimal editing, to keep the costs down. Their audio services during the wedding with wireless mics, amplified music and sound mixing were perfect and exactly what we needed. The final wedding video product was beautiful and they did a great job with nice editing and segmentation that captured the feeling and emotions of the day. Their turnaround was quick, and they gave us a beautiful memory that we hoped for, and created affordable duplicate copies for us to share with our family as well.

There was a mix-up with e-mails at one point regarding where we would meet for a meeting. It wasn't a big deal, but he had confirmed the time and meeting place over e-mail, but forgot he had done so. We both ended up in two different places, my fiance and I in the place we had agreed upon in e-mail and Greg at another location. Thankfully we could still meet with him that day, but we had to drive to him. The day before the wedding, I called Greg to see if we could book the video, so he and his son are definitely very flexible. Though, somehow he already had it in his notes that we wanted a video, which we had never confirmed. He also asked questions about the ceremony and reception, though we had already had the conversation at a previous meeting and in e-mails. There were just enough small hiccups that made me wonder if he was fully prepared. In the end, Greg did a great job with the ceremony and reception. Other than at the very start of the ceremony, the mics worked very well and everyone could hear what was being said. As the bridal party was lining up to be announced into the reception, there was some confusion for Greg regarding the line-up, even though we outlined who would be walking together. I am not sure why this happened, but my husband was able to help sort things out. The reception ran very smoothly and he played the songs we wanted for the most part. I specifically told him not to play slow songs, but he started the dancing with two slow songs. This was quickly fixed once I told him to not play anymore. We also asked him to play music in the order of generations (50s, 60s, 70s, etc.). This didn't really happen, but he played songs we liked, so it was fine in the end. I just worried the older folks didn't feel a part of the dancing as much, though many still joined in. We ordered the video option. It is awesome to know we have a video of our day and we can always watch it again and again. It turned out a little differently than we anticipated in terms of length (it's over an hour), so we may shorten it ourselves in some way if possible. The use of the drone was a great addition. I would say if you want someone to document your day, this is a great option and is very affordable compared to most videographers. But it isn't going to be creatively cut and there are times when the video is a little shaky. Overall, Greg and his son did a pretty good job. There was some hiccups along the way, but really nothing major. Both Greg and his son were pleasant and friendly. Greg is also very reasonably priced.

The roof was also slightly damaged. PG&E came over on December 26, 2025, handed me a business card for High Sierra Electric and Generators (HSE). He said to ask for Edison. I called that night and Edison called me back early on December 27, 2025. He showed up with his crew, removed our bent weatherhead and carefully removed our wood flashing protecting the electrical conuctance pipe. They installed the weatherhead and fixed our roof in 4 hours! We called PG&E and said we had weather damage and PG&E came out that afternoon and restored power! Within 10 days I turned off the laundry faucets to attach the wall elbows onto the machine for it to slide into its closet and close the door, only to find out that one of the faucets was STILL LEAKING. Plumber came back and said it was MY fault for turning off the fuacet???!!!??.(What are faucets for????) That the entire laundry water supply box needed to be replaced. I checked to see that the laundry water supply box replacement needed replacement and cost (high$$$) was true and neccesary then called them to see if they would compromise. They have avoided my 5 messages. Plus, I'm on a well and since I can't stop the leak my well pump is contiually working and adding to my PG&E bill.
