I found out that Healthkeepers canceled their contract with Lifecare. It is very disappointing that Healthkeepers would do that, especially when there are no inter-hospital transports that are in-network right now, and Spotsy county ambulance does not do inter-hospital transport. Healthkeepers lack of care/concern leaves their patients with balance billing (suprise bills). But, call Lifecare. They will help you work it out! Until more state or federal protections are given the consumer for ground ambulance surprise billing, I am glad Lifecare does protect and is empathetic! Thank you Lifecare!

Did not realize this until they had arrived and I saw the stretcher in the hallway outside my room. Had the money and should have walked up front from the ER and called a taxi. Lifecare forced me on a stretcher against my will and strapped me down. After arriving to my home I got up off the stretcher and walked toward my driveway to inside my home. They followed me into my garage, asked how many cars I owned and asked the make and models of the cars in my garage. None of their business. Then Lifecare forced their way into my home invading my privacy as I walked freely on my own. You don't need this. No one needs this. NEVER EVER call this private ambulance and when someone else does walk the other way. You will be glad you did. If I could give them a zero star I would.

Unfortunately, a major snowstorm hit that day, and it was difficult to find someone available given the road conditions. Thankfully, MTS Transportation stepped in when we needed them most. Our driver, Natinael, was outstanding--professional, courteous, and genuinely kind. He ensured a safe and smooth ride home despite the harsh weather and made the trip stress-free. I had no idea a service like this existed! Most assume only family can pick up a patient since rideshares like Uber aren't allowed. It's a huge relief knowing MTS is an option, so you don't have to ask someone to leave work just to provide transportation. Highly recommend MTS for their reliable and caring service. They're so professional and easy to work with (I often dashed out texts and emails from a different time zone) and did such a great job of getting my dad to daily cancer treatments and consultations with doctors on time. Wally didn't just get my dad to the hospital on time, he also wheeled my dad to the appropriate places within the hospital for treatments and consultations and waited for my dad at the hospital to take him back after treatment. My dad still raves about what a great job Wally did now, over a month after his treatment concluded. I live far away, so I also really appreciate that Wally kept me informed of changes in my dad's condition during the difficult treatments. Both my dad and I would strongly recommend Unique Hands to any friends or family who need the company's services.
