Sparkly came up high-rated on Yelp so we decided to give them a go, and are happy we did! Booking the service was seamless! Both Crystal and Vanessa were very responsive to my emails and flexible with a small, last-minute changes I needed to make in terms of date/timing and entry instructions. It was easy and clear what each of the cleaning options where, as well as the additions you could choose. We added on cleaning inside the fridge and cabinets, which was totally worth it. The cleaners arrived on time and let themselves in via the lock box we left for them. When we returned to see how the cleaning went, we were very pleased! Everything felt so fresh - just what we were looking for. I wouldn't hesitate to use this service again.

I thought I had booked a detailed cleaning that included disinfecting surfaces. Instead, they used a Swiffer duster and a dry rag, and I was told afterward that they don't do wet cleaning. I may have missed that when booking because I needed someone quickly. I had explained that my mom was coming home from the hospital and that I wanted the floors, bathrooms, and her bedroom...including the ceiling fan and walls cleaned thoroughly to help reduce the risk of infection. Seeing the ceiling fan dusted above her bed worried me because dust could fall onto it. The trash can in the bathroom was not emptied. Dust was left on my mother's bed from the ceiling fan, not cool. They did not clean under anything, they cleaned around things. If you're considering this service, be aware that it appears to focus on dusting and vacuuming rather than the detailed cleaning or disinfection I was looking for. Unfortunately, nothing was left feeling particularly "sparkly" to me.

Tony and Nick evaluated the carpet throughout the house. I knew the carpet was at least 7 years old. It started separating from the baseboards 4 years ago, and the owner-corporation did nothing about it. Tony said he would be happy to do what I wanted, but that he felt it was complete waste of time. Knowing this landlord-corporation, I doubt the carpet will be replaced. However, it is nice to know that Steamdry is honest in their dealings. I deeply appreciate it.

And with that, we bought the previous owners god-only-knows-what-else on the carpet. Not that the carpet was gross or anything... but, it did have some stains and a couple dirty spots. So we thought we'd have them cleaned before we get our own dogs slobber and feet oils all over them. Imperial to the rescue! I called them up and scheduled an appointment (which they were on time for). They came with their super sucky (my word, not theirs) van and sucked up all the god-only-knows-what-else out of my carpets. Oh, and they cleaned an area rug for me too, which apparently, really needed it (see pic). OK dogs, now get to messing up that clean carpet... I'll call Imperial Carpet Cleaning again!
