We also had desserts with them - chocolate chestnut cakes & a family-recipe date bar. It was awesome. Many people complimented our food, and it made me very happy because food is such an important factor in our lives (I am Korean and we live in NYC - food is all we care about haha). A lot of places weren't quite the right fit, had too many weird restrictions, or were overpriced (if your've looked at venues you know what I mean!) The Castle House and Gardens was the last place we looked at and we knew it would be the most perfect, picturesque and enchanted woodland setting for our outdoor wedding. It has lush, wild gardens that remind me of the Secret Garden. There's a beautiful redwood grove where we had our ceremony and a poolside courtyard with two outdoor fireplaces, perfect for dining and dancing, where we had the reception. It was great to have the ceremony and reception at the same place. The Castle House is a historic estate located in the Santa Cruz Mountain Community of Bonny Doon. It's bordered by beautiful redwood forests and just 10 minutes from the ocean. The family that lives there were the most gracious hosts for our event and went to extra care to make sure the grounds looked stunning on our wedding day. They own the Bonny Doon Garden Company and grow all of the flowers for their floral design business organically in their home gardens. It was really cool because my bouquets and centerpieces all came from the garden where I got married! We got so many compliments about the venue from our guests and everyone kept asking me, "How did you find this place?" I definitely recommend this place to other brides if you are looking for a unique, non-cookie cutter type venue full of natural beauty and rustic charm.

We did a baby shower at Corralitos Grange for people coming from the Salinas area and the Central…read moreValley. We anticipated about 80-100 guests dropping by on a Saturday afternoon. We got a early access to the hall at 4 pm on the Friday prior to decorate and help set up tables. The tables and chairs are fold out but we were able to setup on three sections with ample space for kids to run around. There is a side room, ballroom style which can accommodate a DJ. Then there's a back kitchen with a couple stoves and ample space for a bar area. The hall has a stage and plenty of parking for guests. Although parking was not an issue there is a park across Little Corralitos Way for public parking. All in all, great experience, and not a ton of drama with the parking situation. Would recommend the hall for family get togethers and moderately sized events. One thing to keep in mind is cell service may be hit or miss and getting to the hall can be challenging for first time visitors. They can always stop at Corralitos Market and ask for directions.

The worst part is that the flow of traffic was not impeded, people were able to pass through normally etc. It's just neighbors like this Yosemite Sam asshole who believe Corralitos belongs to them and they're going to police people, these generational types living in grandma's house. This venue is a yes but you need to designate someone who can play yard duty otherwise your day will be a never ending cluster fuck.

Fullbright events really came through to help us plan each and every, minute by minute, details of the day of coordination. Arshita is THE most thorough person I have ever interacted with. We had three prep calls to create the minute by minute timeline of the bride, groom, all the vendors, and the family members/guests. They asked us so many thoughtful questions regarding the day of that we had never thought of. Questions regarding what, where and how each of the vendors were providing their services, what we were bringing, who was driving the bride and groom, and many many more that we were glad that someone was asking us. On the day of the event, they arrived very, very early to ensure that the decorator was there and everything was going smoothly. When things went off track, as they are bound to do at any wedding, they kept their composure and resolved every issue with grace and we as the couple and our guests felt there was nothing wrong. Our entertainment went past our expected time but Arshita had thought ahead and pushed the open bar to later. We had cops arrive due to loud music but Arshita promptly dealt with them and asked the DJ to lower the music. We could not have asked for a better day of co-ordinator! In major part due to Fullbright Events and Arshita, we had the wedding we will fondly remember for the rest of our lives.

They were deeply interested in understanding our culture and ensuring that the wedding would exceed our expectations. They also understood the stresses that come with planning a major event like a wedding and were a pleasure to work with. Their professionalism, flexibility and intelligence shone through in all my interactions with them. Once I gave them my budget, they were able to provide me with a comprehensive list of vendors to choose for photography, videography, decoration, DJ and catering. I looked through the vendors and shortlisted the ones that appealed to me. After speaking to them, I felt great so I ended up booking them for the wedding. Sheetal and Arsh also patiently worked with my fiance and I to understand our requirements and did a wonderful job of communicating them to all the vendors. They also worked with vendors in India to have jewelry and outfits shipped to the US. I must also stress here that all of the planning was done remotely due to Covid restrictions and it is a credit to them that we never felt at any point that this hampered the wedding planning. I was blown away by their dedication at this point. Needless to say, the Fullbright team exceeded our expectations at the wedding. On the day of the wedding, they were there on time at 6:00 am and ready to go. Given that we had a traditional Indian wedding, which tends to be about 6-7 hours, the team worked tirelessly to keep things running on time with all the vendors. They were very cooperative and adaptable to changes to the timeline during our wedding. They always had a smile on and helped us feel calm amidst any wedding chaos. For the reception later that evening, they were again full of energy even though they'd had a long day by then. Again, from the cocktail hour to the grand entrance to the song and dance performances and ending with the open dance floor, all the events were impeccably managed and we were on time based on our pre-planned schedule. We lost count of how many of our guests reached out to let us know that our wedding was amazing and all the events were planned and executed so smoothly. We couldn't be happier for hiring Fullbright events and trusting them with our special day.
