After half hour of me asking questions, I find out that I can order them and have in 5 days - they never offered this option to me. I ordered a set of BF's, they had them in 2 days. (That 20 minutes ago was "unavailable") Upon install, they had two instructions - white letters out, and install/program new pressure sensors. Picked truck up - white letters were not showing, and sensors not programmed. They said, well just bring it back tomorrow and we'll fix it. I have 48 Allen head bold around my rims that they said they had to remove. Looking at them when got home, several were missing, paint chipped off, and several were cross-threaded and in the wheel crooked. I removed them all to repaint, and many off them were stripped and wouldn't even back out. They used power tool to install, in aluminum rims !!! No way would I ever hand my keys to them again. Their not concerned about your business, wreckless at their crappy work, and really couldn't care less. And then after we FINALLY got it and settled the bill, we ended up taking it to another mechanic who had to fix all the poor work done by Mountain View. Among other boneheaded moves, they put all the new tires on wrong (whitewalls facing in for some reason). A local family friend recommended this place so highly, which is why we kept cutting them more slack, but that good faith was sorely misplaced. After calling several other mechanics in the area, I found Majeed's. Not only did Majeed's return my call within an hour, but they were able to fit me in for an appointment the next morning. I dropped my vehicle off and within an hour, the inspection was done! Majeed's was incredibly thorough. They were transparent with their findings and explained the issues with the car in a way that I understood (even went so far as to take videos for me to see the damage for myself). Majeed's also listed out all of the recommended repairs and gave an incredibly fair price. Because of Majeed's expertise, I decided to return the vehicle and ended up saving myself a ton of hassle and money. After this experience with Majeed's, I'll never go to another mechanic. I called again at 330pm and they said the tires hadn't come and it wouldn't be ready until the following day. On Wednesday at 12pm, I called again and they said they were putting the tires on now and it would be about 45 minutes and stated I would get a text when the car was ready. At 2:00, I hadn't heard anything so I called again. They said the tires were on and they were waiting for a balance machine. I informed them I'd be in at 3pm to pick up my car and it needed to be ready. At 3pm I arrived at the station and they hadn't even started putting the tires on. I waited in the waiting room until 330 when it was finally done. It took 3 days for them to put on two tires, and they lied to me about its progress every step of the way. At approximately 2:05pm on Wednesday I received a notification through the Kia Access App that the theft alarm was activated. When I picked up my car and took it home I noticed that there was clear visible damage where it appeared as though someone used something to attempt to break into my vehicle. I confronted the station about it and they apologized and stated they would pay for the damages. It has been 3 weeks and they have not issued me a refund or paid for the damages despite me following up consistently. Do not take your car here!
