Absolutely love the staff and how they treat my daughter. We have done several options with in home centers which ended up not working out and due to abuse at one of the centers(yes it was reported) we were on edge already as parents entering our daughter into a new place. The staff has been so patient with our daughter and have done amazing at helping her to build her trust and confidence back up. Baby girl is thriving in confidence, socializing and academics. I thought bridges was great but now looking at how my son is doing in kindergarten, I think bridges was more of a daycare than a school. Behaviorally, he is fine. But academically he is behind others that have gone to preschool. When I would ask about progress they would tell me he was fine when he really wasn't. I will look somewhere else for my daughter next year. read more

We love Bridges! My son has been going there for 3 years and has thrived at this school. As with most kids, he had some areas that we struggled with, but the teachers and administration took the time to work with him and sit down with us (as often as we requested) to talk about different approaches and solutions. I'm proud to say he is at the top of his Kindergarten class and acing every assessment. I hear his classmates calling him a leader, and I see him doing things for his friends both at school and at home. As working parents we depend on a village to help our family along the way and we are so happy to have found Bridges and consider their amazing teachers a part of our village. I couldn't be more proud of my son's growth. Looking forward to starting my daughter in Ms. Kerry's class one day soon. read more

Well it started great there and our daughter loved it until one teacher left then downhill it went. Multiple teachers came and went, some were not observant to what was happening, and didn't know what had happened that day when we picked her up. I stopped each day in the lobby to look for new scratches or bumps since they wouldn't tell us about head injuries or injuries that happened there in general. My daughter came home with poop in her underwear and one time in another child's underwear. The worst part was when my child said she was scared of a staff member and they just brushed it off and say no they're not. Final straw. And when we left the "art portfolio" they were supposed to have for the entire time there had just the last couple of weeks of stuff in it. So much for a portfolio. The only reason for a two was my daughter liked it there, but I don't suggest enrolling your children there. The office staff is incompetent and will blow smoke to try and keep you there, it's about the money for them and the "family" atmosphere is disfunctional read more

We love this school. It's small and quaint. Love the staff. Love that my child is happy!!

We have loved this place so far. It was recommended to us by a close friend. We were so nervous putting our baby in preschool but she loves it and always wants to go. I would highly recommend it. We go to the one in East Mesa and her teacher is Mrs Bri. read more

This school is amazing. I love the hands on approach to learning. My child learns so much. She has gone to Bridges since she was 2 years old and is currently in Kindergarten at Bridges. They are always doing science, cooking, and gardening projects. Everyday on the way to and from school my child is telling me about all of the things she has learned at Bridges. She loves her teacher Ms. Lynn who as been at Bridges for 10 years. What other school has a teacher that has taught for over 10 years. This school is a true family. Love that everyone has or is working on their degree and is first aid and cpr certified. The teachers and staff are an extension of our family. I love how the admin staff always get the door for us and greets us. My Kindergartner is teaching her 1 year old sister Spanish and sign language. Wouldn't go anywhere else. read more

If you care about your child please do not send them to the Bridges Preschool in Mesa. When we toured the facility it seemed like a great fit for our then 2.5 year old son who had recently been diagnosed with Autism. Being non verbal we were assured that they had the capability to meet his needs. Things started out what we thought was great, only good things to hear about our son from his teachers, front staff and Director April. Unfortunately the director April left abruptly at the beginning of March and the Regional Director Regina took over at the Mesa location and things took a drastic turn for the worse. In April we were contacted by Regina for a meeting regarding our son where she brought up a multitude of concerns regarding our son that we had no previous notice of, one of these concerns was that our son was getting into the building unattended. Our 3 year old son had managed to get into the school unattended on MULTIPLE occasions and we had never been notified of our child going missing from the playground and Regina chose to blame our 3 year old son for this action. In June a situation occurred and when concerns were brought up to Regina about it and requests to keep all communication through writing our son was subsequently unenrolled from Bridges Preschool without any warning. While this is not against their handbook protocol for unenrollment the lack of willingness to communicate and bring up concerns without fear of retaliation is unacceptable. A preschool should be a safe loving environment for children and Bridges Preschool in Mesa with Regina as a director does not provide that. We hope that no further families must endure what we have the past couple of months. read more

LOVE LOVE LOVE this school!! I have a VERY active 3 year old and stayed hime with me for the first 2.5 years of his life. I was worried about putting him in preschool and he freak out or something but the classes were so welcoming and inviting that on our tour of the school, he walked right in, sat down, and had snack time with all the other kids. Never bat an eye lash! And its been like that since! I knew that moment that this school was the place for us! They do LOTS of hands on activities and incorporate movement into all there learning agendas! Its so important for little ones to be able to move and burn up all that endless energy they have! Ms. Kerri is my sons teacher and I could not say enough nice things about her! She is so wonderful with the kids! read more

My son is flourishing in the half-day kindergarten class. They do exciting and unique activities that you don't always see in the public school. There is plenty of opportunity to be individuals, creative, and I think it's an absolutely great start to his education. Parent communication is prompt and clear. Warning to parents! If you are looking for a preschool for your child please do not consider Bridges Preschool off Power and Brown in Mesa. I just removed my 3yr old son who had been going for over a year. He has been constantly bullied if you can believe it or not at his age. He has been bitten and has had sand thrown in his face and hair almost daily. He never initiated nor retaliated but just took it because he wanted friends. Numerous times I have picked him up and he had sand all in his eyes. The very last time he attended, his eyes were so caked with sand that he was hysterically crying when I arrived. 8 hours later, sand was still coming out. We withdrew him immediately. 2 days later he said he was having trouble seeing out of one of his eyes so we took him to the ER. The Dr said he had a nasty bacterial infection from the sand scratching his eye. From the many conversations with management we felt such a fakeness and no real apologies. Management told us kids will be kids and made me feel like they encourage that kind of "play". They actually made excuses as to why it was ok that these things have been happening to our son. My son is not the only one who has been bullied there. I have seen other children being bullied. One day, I went in their back play area to get my son and witnessed 2 boys cornering another boy and physically made him punch himself in the face over and over. I stopped it because none of the teachers were watching them. Did they tell those boys' parents....doubt it. I went back there another day and witnessed 2 children lapping up standing water in the broken water fountain as if they were puppies. Apparently water would still come out but it wouldn't drain. I ran over and stopped them while yelling for teachers to come over because once again...not watching. I spoke with 2 teachers about it and no one seemed concerned. I went up to the office and demanded they drain it immediately since the kids could get very sick from that or worse. Did they warn those parents of possible stomach infections? Doubt it. The amount of disregarding, neglect, and carelessness is unacceptable and shocking. Please look past the fake smiles you will receive there and think of your child's safety and social problems that could arise in that type of environment. read more

Grandchildren Junior and Vance Stamsek attend Bridges on Power Rd and Brown, they love it. The staff is friendly and professional. The children learn while they play. Great atmosphere. read more

I volunteered here for a period of time in one of the pre-k classrooms. I'm also currently studying early childhood education in college. The owners of this school base their curriculum on the latest research regarding what is best for young learners. They allow for a lot of self-development with a lot of hands-on opportunities. They also integrate Spanish and Sign Language into their curriculum. All of the children behave relatively well and are noticeably happy. I would definitely send my children here if I were to put them in a preschool. read more

I have had 2 of my children go through Bridges programs and Im happy with them overall. I will say that with them expanding so much the directors have been neglecting the older schools. Be warned: They have a super strict food policy and it makes no sense. Example: Kids can have pudding but not 100% juice or milk with lunches. Plus, do your research on the individual campuses. They are not consistent at all. read more
