The staff bring everything in and set up all the food along with condiments. Our office really enjoys the Chicken with Wild Mushroom pasta, Beef Rouladen which is thinly sliced beef rolled up with a sauce and the turkey at Christmas time. The signature stuffing which is made with assorted bread, cranberry, apple, onion, celery and sage is also delicious! The baked tomatoes are juicy and so flavourful, and the cabbage rolls are tender. We also usually order the Asian Spinach Salad which has rice in it and different sandwiches for a lighter lunch option. The only item we think is too salty is the Homestyle Chili so I don't recommend it. During the Covid-19 pandemic, our office decided to order individual safe-serve meals for lunch. They offer quite a few selections and also delivered. A few people had the butter chicken with rice and cauliflower which was tasty but didn't have that much chicken in it. The stir fry chop box also did not contain enough meat. The beef rouladen with vegetables was good as usual. This catering company has a very nice selection and can supply lunch or dinner for your crowd no problem! Give them a try and you shouldn't be disappointed!

You get free mimosa's with every food bank donation, however the organizer gives you a handful of mimosa tickets anyways. The service is awesome and all staff members are great. I must say that the venue itself is very dated and needs a major facelift. The outside and inside are old and coming apart. The carpet is dated, the paint on the walls is either scratched, stained, or peeling off. Overall, it has seen better days. Parking is terrible especially on big event days. The lot is small and most of the parking is done on the grass in front of the venue.

Paul had a quote for us within a day and made sure he could accommodate our date on short notice. Paul put on a fantastic dinner for my moms 90 birthday even though it was for only 30 people. He was able to accommodate us on fairly short notice when everyone else was not. There was so much food that we ended up sending everyone home that wanted with next day meals. The quality of the food and what was delivered for what was ordered was exceptional. He personally picked up the equipment and dishes that night and I couldn't thank him and his staff enough for what they provided. If you want great quality food and service with a professional touch this is the company to call.

Many commented that it was the best wedding buffet they had ever had. Paulina and her staff were so prepared; they were attentive to all our needs, we had plenty of food left after everyone ate, they were polite to all our guests and they left the kitchen spotless at the end of the night. I was very concerned about having a good caterer, as I have worked in the business myself. Paulina addressed all my concerns and assured me it would all be great. I believed her and she did not let me down. I would highly recommend her to all of my friends and family or anyone else looking for a caterer.

The descriptions sounded divine and we were so excited to try their food but everything fell flat. The biggest problem was the waffle itself. I'm not sure if it was because they were made in advance but they didn't have any crispness to them and had an underwhelming blandness. It seemed like the same waffles for the savory chicken and the sweet berries rather than being seasoned for each dish. Even the kids didn't like them :-( I hope it was a one off day but we were all disappointed.

It seemed that nobody within our budget offered the type of traditional roast beef and ham dinner with all the fixings that we wanted. After speaking to a particularily unenthusiastic caterer, I was nearly convinced I would cater the wedding myself, until I came across Elegant Affairs. When I first spoke to John on the phone, he came across as a bit more casual than you might expect; however he seemed to have a suitable answer to all of my burning questions, and offered practical solutions to my concerns. We agreed to meet with him. My fiance and I met John at his home, where we were welcomed by his adorable pooches before being ushered into his comfortable living room. As we spoke, it became quite apparent that this man not only loved what he does, but he was AMAZING at it. He even gave us a tour of his custom industrial kitchen located in a seperate area of his home. We were convinced. We arranged the contract and agreed to drop off the deposit later that week. When we went to drop off the deposit, John generously offered us VIP passes to an event that Elegant Affairs was catering, as he had extra passes that he wasn't able to use. We accepted them enthusiastically and attended the awesome event, and sampled John's food for the first time. We fell in love with the roast potatoes and knew at that moment, dinner would be a highlight of our special day. The night before the wedding, as we were setting up the hall, I had a moment of sheer terror when I realized that I had forgotten the hall rental did not include wine glasses. It was late on a friday night and I phoned John in a panic, nearly in tears actually. He was so relaxed ad calm and eased my worries right away by offering to drop off some wine glasses to me that very night! He was literally my night in shining armour and did not make it seem like it was a big inconvienience. The big day arrived and we had a wonderful service and dinner was served. John's staff introduced themselves to us and brought our meal directly to the head table, as well as to the table with my grandparents, who have reduced mobility. The service was amazing. The food was incredible. Our guests still comment to this day on how good the food was at our wedding! If you are looking for a caterer that truly goes above and beyond, and does it with a smile, call these guys!

BBQ Acres very much is what it is. Expect to eat like a king, but don't be expecting fine china…read more If you like a lot of tasty grilled meat. This is your place and the BBQ aspect definitely earns 5 stars. If you like lots of salads and catering, this is also your gig. No complaints there either. But if you are looking for something a little more fancy than plastic cups, plates, cutlery, picnic tables in an old one story quansit, this might not be your gig. Food: definitely great and I would cater from them again. As for the party experience, the place is located pretty far out of down making driving a must and a designated driver, a very expensive cab, or a bus rental another top consideration for your event or party night. The event I went to was a BBQ then a dance. After the BBQ the DJs set up and as the room is about 10 feet high, the accoustics are terrible and you are going to get blasted by your miley or other beats. You'll definitely want to head outside or into the waiting area to hang out and chat. If you want to dance the night away, this might work quite well, allthough it is a bit poorly lit and I couldn't shake the feeling I was in a old Quansit all night. I'd go again, but I don't think I'll be booking events there anytime soon based on the venue and the transportation distance.
