I fell into Priceline and joined its program first, so tend to head back there on most occasions - it's well-stocked and equipped with a full-service pharmacy (which not all Pricelines are). I'd also sing the praises of its staffing policy - getting retail assistants is tricky, and the ones here are almost always good. Not happy with the implementation of the loyalty program though - I diligently clock my card and accrue points each visit, but rarely remember to bring in my monthly discount coupon (which usually amounts to all of about $3.56!) Could they not simply record the discount entitlement on the card itself??

They have matte lipstick…read more Do I need to say more? Well granted it's not cheap lipstick, but it's matte. And beautiful. And matte. This place is huge. And it has everything. From facial cleansers, to make up, to nail polish, to heart monitor thingies, shampoo's, dyes... And quite a few lip balms too for those of us that are lip balm freaks. Great little pharmacy to pick up things that you need to grab on your way home.

One particularly charming lady who works here once allowed me to purchase a tester aftershave for a fraction of the retail price because they were out of stock. Woot! A rare concession and not one that is to be repeated no doubt but it demonstrates the kind of service that independents can give. To counter that though I had a particularly frosty encounter with a Pharmacy assistant there who told me it was impossible to collect a prescription if I hadn't registered my Medicare details. I challenged her assertion and found a sister-in-arms in her colleague who agreed that it wasn't necessary to provide the Medicare card. She begrudgingly completed my transaction but it's made me less inclined to go there again. Unless for the testers of course!

I have been in twice in the last two weeks and found her to be a very unfriendly woman and extremely abrupt. I thought maybe the first time she was just having a bad day. I found her quite rude, actually, and decided to drive to Warringah Mall to get exactly the same beauty product that she could have sold me. I work in retail myself so I know how you should treat your customers and it's certainly not with an attitude like hers ! This is only the second time in my life that I have ever taken the time to sit down and write a negative review!
