They serviced our boat for 3+ years and the work was performed skillfully, on time and with great communication. My service experience with our 27' Grady-White was positive whether it was performed in the shop or on our mooring. While now out of the western Long Island Sound area, I wouldn't hesitate to use them again for sales or service if I were to return to the area and have recommended Team Catalano to my friends without reservation.

Great service, great guys, great boat, great value. Never a lick of trouble for 20 years. Even though I am now three hours away I still bring my boat to Catalano's every year for service. I just know it will be done right. After 20 years of total enjoyment on my 21' Grady I just upgraded to a 23 and didn't think for a second about going anywhere else. My hope is that I live another 20 years so I can buy a new Grady from the next generation of Catalanos.

The engine came off one of their rental boats - but was told that it was 'the owners boat' (I found out the rental boat bit buy looking at their web site and seeing the boat and the engine in their photos). When I started to ask questions, the sales guy was 100% rude and evasive. He promised to send the service records but when my wife called the main office to see about servicing the engine for shipping, the sales guy called back and went off on her. She was supper upset and crying after the call. I was just trying to buy a motor. No need to make my wife cry. Probably lucky that we did not buy the motor. They were clearly trying to hide something. I would stay away from Rex Marine. There is something bad going on there. No one does customer service this way.

I have had nothing but great experiences with Palmer Point. Everyone there is friendly and helpful. The service yard is filled with experienced workers and they can handle any need a boater may have. The gas dock is cheap and they honor a $0.10 per gallon discount for BoatUS members. They also have an abundance of different sized boat slips with full amenities (power, water, etc.). If you want something built, he's been there and done it a thousand times. He has decades of experience over any other mechanic/builder around. Twice I had other (closer) garages do minor work on my Wrangler because it was more convenient and I regretted it. Dedona ultimately ended up correcting their mistakes. Jimmy's work is always clean, he doesn't sell you parts or service you don't need, and he is a 100% straight shooter. Every time I've ever gone in, he's taken the time to test drive the Jeep with me, discuss repairs and upgrades in depth and show me around the shop. Always a ton of cool projects underway downstairs. He treats you like you're family, and an army of repeat customers is a testament to his character, talent and skill. I'll leave you with this- and it's all you really need to know about the man and his business: The *one* time I had a minor issue with an installed part (a shock), Jim jumped in his truck, drove 45 minutes to my house and fixed it in my driveway. He stands by his work and always does right by his customers. If you need a build, a part or a fix, this is the place. Full stop.
