Been on a wedding dress hunt so found this shop just on google maps searching for boutiques. The store front is small and in a plaza easily missed but inside they have a very large selection of dresses!! Not just wedding but all variety of formal gowns. I was looking for very specific styles and was pleasantly surprised they had a decent selection for me to try on. Also learned they have a great deal for brides, on your first visit you, if you say yes to the dress, you get $100 off, a free garment bag, a free garter 20% off any bridal accessories and $50 off alterations ! The women who work here are Polish so I know they are handy with the needle come time for alterations please they were helpful in being real with me what looks good on my body. I had a wonderful experience at Bridal Bells! I went to David's bridal last week and was very discouraged. It was so many people pushing around, nobody paying attention to you ,trying to find a mirror . That was not how I imagined. I wasn't sure I was going to find a dress however I made an appointment at bridal bells for the following weekend. It is a small boutique with one person shopping at a time and all the attention is on you. We discussed what I was looking for and she provided all the options she had in the store. In the dressing room I got to stand on a small stage with all the mirrors on me. She was helpful and answer all my questions as well as made me feel beautiful and special. I called Barbara up on a Wednesday at 10:00 in the morning and she scheduled me for 1:00 appointment at her bridal salon on my lunch hour. She quickly measured me and pulled several dresses in my price point category. She had an amazing selection! She even took pictures of me for my family and was extremely accommodating! She was willing to alter the dress and have it for me within one week's time as I was leaving for my destination wedding at that time. She's funny, efficient, and kind!! I saw a dress on the website I loved. I called the shop and discussed the dress with the owner Barbara. she was extremely friendly. I made an apt for a few weeks later. The shop is not big, but she has a lot of options to try. I tried on the dress I saw and about 12 other ones. They were all beautiful! I didn't end up picking the dress I went to see, because she brought me a dress that was newer and had a little more of a wow factor for me. Eww... This place smelled like a consignment shop, but it was not a consignment shop. Actually, most consignment/thrift shops, including Goodwill and Savers, smelled nicer than this place. It just smelled so OLDE! I stopped by on a whim to look at possible bridesmaids gowns last month. I wanted to see if I could find dresses at a local place before heading to David's Bridal, but unfortunately, the dresses looked like they were from 1992, in a bad way, and were very hideous. There were a couple of reasonably-priced wedding gowns, but the others dresses were overpriced. The lady did greet me and told me about the selection. She was nice though I had a hard time understanding her. She asked if I bought my dress. When I answered that I had already bought my dress, I had a feeling that she did not want to work with me. A friend suggested I came to Bridal Belles to get my bridesmaids dresses. We found some that we liked and ordered, I even paid to rush order them as time was tight. The lady measured the girls and added so many extra inches to their size, once we received the dresses they were HUGE. She did not even measure the height of the girls to order the appropriate length of dress. I found this business to be VERY DISHONEST! Clearly she was hoping for us to use her tailor services also. We went to Bridal Bells based on a friend's recommendation to get a mother of the bride dress for me. I explained what I was looking for and my needs (e.g. something that covered my shoulders b/c I get cold and a dress that was flattering b/c I have a boyish figure). The owner went to the rack and the first dress she pulled out was the one. They ordered extra material to make a wrap for me and added shoulder straps. They were very accommodating for our schedule because my daughter also had her wedding altered by them and she lives out of state. My daughter's dress required side panels added because she bought the dress pre-Covid and had gained weight. They had to match beading on the dress when letting it out. I walked in without having looked at wedding dresses yet, showed her a few pictures of what I was envisioning along with my budget, and she brought out a number of dresses that were all exactly what I was looking for. I can't believe the owner let me take this dress home like this without saying a single word about what looks like a butt crack at the top of my dress. 1 week before my wedding! Imagine my horror when I got it home and had my granddaughter take this picture after trying it on - thank God - before my ceremony. How embarrassing would this have been to walk down the aisle looking like that! Fortunately I was able to find a top notch seamstress who was able to fix it in 3 days! This shop may have some decent prices but I would suggest taking it elsewhere to have alterations done. And, another member of our wedding party bought her dress here and she had it altered by them and it ripped in 3 places the day of the wedding! I don't typically write reviews but I felt it necessary in this case. I went there to set up and appointment to get a dress for my sons wedding. I have been there before and bought a dress for my daughters wedding. There were not many choices then and not many now. I was able to look at dresses and I did not see anything I liked but 1. I tried it on. It was a size 10 and was big but the person said I had to loose 20 lbs to fit in the 8. I am 5'4" and weigh 129 lbs. 20 lbs was ridiculous. Dress was almost $575 without alterations. I left there feeling like I was a blimp. Turns out that the place I ordered dress from had the same designer and the dress I ended up picking was a size 8. I will not give a lower score because two family members have bought wedding dresses there and they were lovely. Also seamtress is great. read more

AMAZING SHOP. I was concerned about the cost of a dress, so I tried to cut corners and go to one of those large chain stores -- you all know the one I'm talking about. I got talked into buying a dress that I later realized I hated. They may have cheap dresses, but it was overwhelming and unhelpful. I could not have had a better experience at Bridal Bells. My mom works in Berlin and heard about this place and heard from a coworker that it was the "best kept secret in Berlin". Barbara is wonderful, she fit my appointment in the same day I called and helped me find dresses that would within my budget. When I was trying on dresses she was helpful without being pushy and very supportive. Her seamstress was there as well, helping with my appointment, and able to offer options for alterations when needed. I had it narrowed down to two choices when I left the shop. Barbara let me and my mother come back and re-try on the dresses. When I finally made my decision, Barbara just let me stand in front of the mirror, enjoying the dress. I love that she let me enjoy my moment, and really feel comfortable with the dress and my decision. It was a wonderful experience and a thousand times better than going to the big chain store. When I called them, they told me to come the next day and they would fix it. They found mistakes I didn't even know happened! They were honest with how much they would charge, and always told me what I would have to pay. They re-did my bustle and made it absolutely beautiful. I went into bridal bells after having a pretty disappointing appointment at another high end gown shop. Barbara was great in putting me in every possible dress to get the vision I had. She was friendly, knew her stuff, and stayed late to accommodate my appointment. I came to Bridal Belles because I had already gone to four different boutiques looking for a wedding dress and tried on 25+ dresses. I found a dress online and after calling a few boutiques that said they carried the dress, but didn't, the owner said she would get it for me because the dress was in stock. I paid $100 which would either be a restocking fee or a deposit towards my dress. The owner opened the shop for me to travel over an hour on a Sunday to try the dress on. The shop was chilly and not as nice as some of the other boutiques I went to, but she was the only one that offered to get me this dress. Needless to say, I bought the dress and I'm very happy with my choice. read more

I purchased a dress here. The owner set an appointment with me so I could bring my friends to help me pick between my top three. We waited in the parking lot 45 minutes. I had to call her and remind her we had an appointment before she came. I went with a pricier gown, about $600, than I planned going for. I picked this dress over some more affordable $200-$400 options because it was last season last one and marked down and was more elaborate in detail. However, I was shocked by the additional $300 for really rather minor work taking in the bust area and a pressing ( did not request a pressing as the dress was traveling and I had to do it again! ). The dress was too short to hem (part of the clearance price I'm sure) and no boning was taken out. I was too dumbfounded at the time to say anything but it really spoiled the entire experience. If the price seems fair learn from my mistakes and ask for the cost of EVERYTHING before putting down a depost. Once you put down a deposit the shop basically has the dress hostage. A lot of brides are on tight budgets and some of us do not like being taken advantage of. read more

place is amazing. barbra has tons of gowns in larger sizes 20-30 to try on not like some other places in the area that say they have plus but only a few to try on. i was able to try on over 13 gowns and fell in love with one that i will be purchasing. barbra is not pushy at all she knows what looks good on your body. she has gowns in all kinds of styles and sizes she even carrys regular sizes as well. viels. shoes accessories mob bridesmade. my experience here was amazing. she carrys venus and morilee and a few other designers. this was the one bridal place where i was able to fit into every gown i tried on... if you are a plus size bride go to bridal bells first dont waste your time anyplace else you will regret it read more

I had such a good experience here! It was the second shop I went to try on dresses at and it was such an easy process from start to end. I got measured and told Barbara what styles and price range I was looking for and she pulled a bunch of dresses for me to try on and she listened to exactly what I said in reference to what I did and what I did not want. She was very helpful and insightful. After picking my dress making appointments and payments over the phone was a super easy process when it came time to start my fittings it was such a breeze. I have been looking for a wedding dress for a second wedding, nothing fancy. I walked into Bridal Bells just to see what they had. I was greeted at the door immediately with a very friendly smile. After showing a picture of what I was looking for, there were dresses waiting for me in the dressing room that were either my size or bigger to try on (which was nice so I could actually see what they looked like on). Barbara also brought a dress which was not a traditional "wedding" dress in a darker color that she thought would work. After trying it on and liking it, she brought the dress in ivory to show me what it would look like. Within 30 minutes, I had my dress ordered. I had been to another high end shop and really did not find anything "plain" enough for me but the dresses there were 3 times (at least) the cost. My daughter was looking to shop for her wedding gown. She made an appointment for a Sunday, the only day myself and my husband could shop with her, due to owning our own business. (Most bridal stores don't have Sunday hours and/or you have to pay a fee to shop on Sunday). There was no charge for a Sunday appointment and Barbara was waiting for us, ready to do anything to please the bride-to-be, and boy did she! She brought out beautiful gowns for our daughter to try on and stayed in her price range. The third dress my daughter tried on was almost perfect, and Barbara listened to my daughter and knew how to make a few adjustments to the dress to make it perfect! She's like a bridal store ninja!! Please don't waste your time and go here. The owner, Barbara, decided to go out of her way and order a dress for me with a $50 try-on charge and if I didn't like it, I didn't have to buy it, which sounded like an AMAZING deal....unfortunately when I came to try on the dress, I liked it but was not in love because the material was very shiny, which I kept saying out loud when it came in. The owner and my mom kept saying how nice it was and so my mom put down a deposit. I called the very next day in the morning, explaining how my mom and the owner were the only ones there and I felt pressured into saying yes and that I don't think it's the dress for me. When I came in again with others to see it a couple days later and told her I didn't want it and that I didn't want any other dresses in the store, the owner was RUDE, OBNOXIOUS, AND LIED to mom's face that she's not talking the full 20% for canceling, but she did take the full 20% and I ended up paying a total of $250 back to my mom. Barbara is overtired and shouldn't be running a business if she has no patience for brides, especially with her pressuring me, I was giving her great business buying a $1250 dress when they sell typically $500 dresses and I was treated badly. I admit that I became very angry with her and was very assertive, but her attitude and taking all the money she did from me is ridiculous. I will never, ever recommend this place to anyone. read more
