Located on 87th street, really close to Biscayne Blvd. Parking is available in front of the gym, they share the parking lot with a couple of other businesses but no issues finding a spot. The studio is well kept and clean. There is a place to leave your belongings and a waiting area with a couch and a big mirror. They offer several classes, I have tried strength training with Alain and cardio boxing with Alexa. Both of them were really nice and welcoming and explained how the classes would run. For the strength training class, we used weights, bands, jumping boxes and body weight exercises. Alain explained all exercises and was checking on form. He even asked what type of music we wanted to listen while working out. For the boxing class, bring your gloves if you have them or you can rent them there. Alexa went through all the exercises at the beginning, the class is set up to spend half of the time using the punching bags and the other half doing other cardio exercises. I will be back to try their bootcamp!

I've been to other locations and this one is newer and the parking situation is really convenient. I got there a little earlier and had time to stretch. I asked the trainer where to start since it was my first time in this location plus it had been a while since I had been to Sweat440. The trainer was nice to show me around and there was a second trainer who also was there motivating folks. Workout was good, it really can get as tough or light as you want it to be since you get to choose the weight and intensity. The main floor felt spacious and you can wipe in between stations, time goes by really fast so you do need to be alert on when to switch but after the first round you should be OK. I enjoyed my visit to this location and would like to come more often for a quick workout.

There's a handful of different class formats that rotate, and within those workouts are circuits that also change monthly. Epic is a national chain, so you may be doing the same workout as a friend who goes to the outpost in NYC, SF, DC, or maybe just Coral Gables. Each class is 45 minutes and consists of a warmup, circuit, and cool down. By the time you're done mopping the floors, it ends up going a little over, but you'll probably be in and out within an hour. Even though it's strength training and you do exercises you may be used to doing in shoes, you're actually barefoot which I love! I've only been a handful of times but plan on returning again and again. The instructors are super kind and motivating. I always feel like I get a good workout and know I'll get stronger with consistent attendance. Not only that, but I'm planning for my first Tough Mudder this year and know this is the perfect place to train. Would definitely recommend giving this spot a try, no matter where you are on your fitness journey.

5 Star workout and community…read more I usually do not review places other than restaurants, but this place deserves a great shoutout. This is not your usual workout. Everyday of the week is a different workout, with all the workouts changing every month; this will keep you on your toes on every workout, challenging yourself to learn and master new moves. Aside for the ever varying workouts, the instructors are great, they are always there to motivate you to push you a bit harder, and if you have questions they will also be there to assist you. In contrast to Crossfit, the exercises at Epic allow you to work at your own pace and level, you will see people who modify the every station to make it suitable for them, while others will level them up. But the most attractive point about Epic for me is its sense of community. If you have ever gone to a gym by yourself you will notice the difference that comes working out with someone side by side, it pushes you to work harder, to improve, and to take the boring out of the workouts. This is not a place to go if you are looking to "build up" given that the exercises are of a high intensity nature, but if you are looking for a community that will help you stick with your fitness goals Epic is a great choice.

I've now taken three weekend classes from 9:00 am - 10:30 am. It's so much fun! Classes take place at the rooftop of the Conrad which is great if you live in Brickell. Clinics consist of a warmup, hitting drills, and a variety of games that change depending on the day. Over the weekend, I've seen classes range from six to 15 people, but can't speak for the weekday evening classes. There are levels of ALL sorts, from those just starting to way advanced players. You usually break up into two groups divided by skill level about half way through. The music is bumping and Jason has all the equipment you may need! Overall, very happy to have found TennisFit to add this dynamic workout to my routine.

But damn, those bodies of the crossfitters, well.. I wanted one for myself so I jumped into the Unloaded Classes they offer. These workouts kicked my butt, were full of movements that pushed me to my limits each and every time (without Olympic lifting) My body is getting better and better... Thanks to Crossfit A1A...
