This is a gorgeous B & B! We stayed here for a weekend about 1 year ago in the Rose Suite…read more I think people who appreciate history and antiques would really love this place (the bathrooms are modern). Great customer service from Wilma! She's very knowledgeable and helpful, which I appreciated. Breakfast is not served on site. They give you vouchers for breakfast/lunch at nearby restaurants. We went to one within walking distance (less than .5 miles). It was a great morning walk and we stopped by several of the antique stores on the way back to CL. We definitely plan to visit again. Westfield is a lovely town. There are nearby wineries to visit, and the Lucille Ball & Desi Arnaz museum is a short drive away (located in Jamestown).

We stayed in the Foote suite, which was decorated in very soft yellow curtains and comforter. It also included two small chandeliers with adjustable lighting. The bathroom looked completely renovated with comfortable tiling and a nice big shower. We also purchased the lunch package which included two sandwiches, a choice of side, water bottles and cookie! It also included everything you need for the beach; towels, chairs, umbrella, blankets and books! We loved our lunch and looking for sea glass. We would recommend this place to anyone looking for a quiet get away, or anniversary celebration!

We arrived right at 3 for our check in and received a warm welcome from Lesley complete with a review of the property and tour of the space. Very helpful to know where everything is right away! Plus - a welcome cocktail and sweet bread was waiting for us! Delicious! The room: we stayed in La Due, which had an amazingly comfortable king bed, ceiling fan, and tub/shower combo. No detail goes unnoticed in the room, the towels are soft and match the floor rugs beautifully. Robes are available for guests and plenty of outlet space for charging is around the room. A note to visitors: the shared refrigerator for guests is only a mini-fridge, so there isn't much storage space. We'd suggest planning ahead and bringing a cooler for any larger items you wanted to store - or calling ahead to see about options. When we wanted to chill champagne, Lesley was wonderful to assist us with an ice bucket and two glasses! I highly recommend a trip here - friendly, relaxing, and so comfortable!

Set up similar to a B&B but breakfast is continental. Lots of area information in the common spaces. Our room was huge. The two queen beds were separated by a wall, which we worried about for TV watching but ended up being fine. The home is nice, older and maybe in need of some repairs to certain places. Very charming and clean. Our room was lovely. The neighborhood seemed decent (right across from a college). Free off-street parking, free wi-fi. Must be able to get yourself and your bags up to the second floor as there is no elevator. Also, they prefer cash or checks for payment, and payment is taken before you check out. Very comfortable, clean, and nice place. If I'm in Erie again, I wouldn't hesitate to stay here. Oh! And it's inexpensive too!!!

Really nice accommodations, air conditioned rooms, and good coffee in the morning. The home has 10 ft ceilings, wide plank floors, period wallpaper, and orig woodwork. I will say that if you are sensitive to noise there is quite a bit of that starting at 7am. The room we had was 2 connecting rooms, so the kids slept in adjoining one. This worked out very well. I wish we could have stayed another night, but it was booked.

Both the common areas and our room were beautifully appointed. The star of the show here was the great conversation, we could have talked for hours, and excellent breakfast, duck egg omelette with Béarnaise sauce and fresh baked bread. The only thing I regret is not grabbing one of their homemade chocolate chip cookies for the road. Thank you!

Sheila has her famous chocolate chip cookies out in the dining area every day. Mark is an amazing chef; yes I mean amazing! His creations look like they should be in a magazine, and the bonus is they are DELICIOUS. We actually got married here and have stayed a few times other than that. It is a working farm; there are horses, ducks, chickens, goats, pigs, etc., and everything that comes with them... Mark uses fresh duck & chicken eggs in the dishes, and the pork products are from their own pigs. We had some delicious ham and sausages, and homemade sausage gravy with yorkshire pudding. MArk made fresh waffles with pecans ground up fine added to the flour. He made an apple syrup with fall spices that I could not get enough of. Whenever we go it feels like meeting old friends, including Herman the cat! Zonk the goat is cute but ornery... Mark & Sheila are the consummate hosts. This is the place to be if you are looking for a slice of small town Americana. The Belgian Mare, Eve, had a baby too! The 7 rooms are very nicely appointed. It is simply a very friendly place to relax and unwind. bring apples and carrots to feed the animals!!

The innkeeper kindly allowed us to pick up our wine tasting pass early since we were in town a little earlier than expected. She also accommodated my lactose intolerance at breakfast. We also received different daily assortments of homemade breads/rolls/muffins, and a fresh fruit course. I would book this B&B again. There was even advice on local establishments for dinner. We had the Merlot suite. This was a spacious upstairs room. There was a TV and VCR in our room. Suggestion to the owner have a movies available for guests as I am sure no one travels with VHS tapes. The VCR was pointless to have. Breakfast was good. You get to choose between two skillfully prepared meals. Once we were done the lady serving us never came back. We had a few questions but left to go about our day as we had big wine plans. If you do stay buy the wine trail coupon book. We used our book many times
