A very cute little bar that's sprung up. I'm not sure how long it's been open but feel it's probably not long. It's very small and cosy - I went there on a Friday night and was surprised that it was virtually empty at 4pm. I was worried that I had chosen a place that would have no atmosphere but come 5pm, the place was packed! Lots of people and perhaps got a bit loud.
Drinks were cheap (spirits for only $8!) and it was a good place for a drink. The staff behind the bar were friendly but perhaps just learning because she completely stuffed up a scotch, dry and lime. The feel of the bar was relaxed - not pretentious and where you could just go and be yourself. If you could get cheap and cheerful as a bar, this would be it - Just get there early to get a spot! read more
