As good as it gets!" and in this case, I could not agree more. The office itself is great. The staff are nice and seem pretty organized, and I book my appointments online without issue. I am also usually able to get a spot within a reasonable period of time (not 6-8 weeks out like so many Chicago doctors). However, the real reason for the 5th star is Dr. Reyes. Dr. Reyes has the best bedside manner of any doctor I've ever seen. She actually takes the time to listen to your symptoms, concerns, and history. Dr. Reyes also seems to genuinely care about my health and well-being as much as I do, acting sympathetic toward even seemingly minor complaints. Miraculously, she is able to give this much attention to her patients and STILL her office runs on time. I don't know how she does it--I've never waited more than 5 minutes for an appointment. I first saw Dr. Reyes in January 2014 when she was with the Advocate group. I was disappointed when I called later for another appointment and they told me she was no longer there. The staff had no information on where she was practicing or how to contact. I was forced to try other PCPs, and it was only when I needed a check-up in 2017 that I finally found Dr. Reyes again. I was thrilled and relieved (and clearly, my positive memories of her held up). If there were ever a doctor worth tracking down, it's Maria Reyes!

I felt really rushed and I've never had an acupuncture session where the practitioner sat in the room with me after the needles were in to talk to me. I also felt like the practitioner rushed the needles on me, they all were painful going in and that isn't my experience with others. For $205 I expected more care and attention and it almost feels like the business is only in this for the money and are taking advantage of women like me who are really looking for help. I also don't understand why follow-up acupuncture treatments in the 5 session package are $125 per session for 30 mins and then an additional fee for Celluma as an add-on; here is where I feel like the business is overcharging and taking advantage. I'd seen physical therapists and trainers for close to 18 months to try and work through the pain, any while it did lessen, it never went away. Then I saw Mark, and within 6 weeks and 6 sessions my elbow was back to normal via his acupuncture techniques. I can't say I fully understand - even when he explained it to me several times - but I'm not complaining. Seriously, if you have on-going pain or issues of any type, do yourself a favor and book a session with this guy. He's really skilled - not to mention very calming and present. I chose Dr. Weiler as my physician upon moving to Chicago 7 years ago and every time I see her I…read moremarvel at what a truly great choice that was. This time it was an injury to my arm. I misjudged the weight of a crate and ouch, that hurt. I assumed it was a simple muscle strain, but I'm no physician. Dr. Weiler, however, recognized my symptoms as consistent with a more serious injury and, thanks to her and her very professional staff, I had an X-ray, an MRI and saw a specialist, all within four days of my initial visit with her. There's no way I could've achieved all these appointments on my own. It's only because of Dr. Weiler and her staff that I got in to see a specialist that very same week. UPDATE: Within 10 days of that first appointment with Dr. Weiler, I learned I'd suffered a 95-percent separation of my bicep, and had the surgery necessary to correct it. Yes. All within 10 days. If not for Dr. Weiler, the injury I mistook for a simple strain could've very easily become so severe that even surgery wouldn't have been an option. Besides that, the specialist to whom she referred me was among the best of the best. Another win for Dr. Weiler. She's got a lot of those.
