She made the session fun and comfortable, even while working with a toddler that hates picture taking. My family and I are were beyond happy with the final outcome!!

What we liked best about her was how patient and communicative she was leading up to photo day and during the shoot itself. She teaches you how to pose if you need guidance and shares tips for someone who is generally camera shy. We didn't feel pressured or uncomfortable and she handled a 10 day old newborn with ease, allowing us time to feed or pump. She maintained a clean and professional environment, sanitizing regularly and wore a mask the entire duration. You're also able to utilize some of the dresses or props she has for your photos. At the end of the session you'll get to select your photos for edit and she really listens and reconfirms with you the editing you'd like done. We highly recommend her as a photographer for both maternity and newborn photos because the photos will be a cherished snapshot of the moment but the experience made it that much more memorable.

Jessie has a rare gift: she makes you feel seen before she ever picks up the camera…read more I came to Luminous Space for personal branding photography, not entirely sure how to show up or what I wanted the images to say about me. Jessie held the whole thing with such steady presence that the uncertainty dissolved quickly. She asked the right questions, created real ease in the space, and then got out of the way and let the session breathe. The editing is exceptional. The final images are honest and alive, not overproduced. They look like me on my best day, which is exactly what this kind of work requires. If you are a founder, practitioner, or creative who needs photographs that actually carry your essence, Jessie is the real thing.

This is not at all clear from the website marketing, which states: * Photos Taken: 30-50 images * Retouched Images: 1 professionally edited photo (selected on-site) Apparently you also get only 1 raw image, though this is not stated. You have to immediately go through a lengthy three-phase process to choose that photo --no consulting with friends/partners. Okay, so maybe I should have found the fine print, but it turns out "professionally edited" means "created by AI." It generated an image that looks like a 25-year-old digital avatar of me, quite different from the original photo. The website also claims that "We offer 2 rounds of free revisions," but I have not received a response a week after asking for one. So, I'm using the raw image, which is fine.

My obsession with Tiffany started when she captured our engagement photos in Moss Beach.  I had a specific picture I had envisioned and obsessed about, and like a bad client I didn't tell Tiffany.  When I got back my pictures, there it was!  I knew from that day on I would never use another photographer. When it came to us picking a photographer for our destination wedding in Palm Springs, I felt a gravitational pull towards Tiffany, and she didn't disappoint.  She made the booking portion very simple and easy.  I sent her a list of shots we wanted and she pretty much captured everything I could even think of, and more.  She leaned into our moody "old Hollywood" look.  She worked our 200+ wedding like she'd been doing it for decades.  She works with light like a master artist.  What comes out at the end will absolutely blow your mind.  And on top of it all, she's a lot of fun to work with and makes you feel so comfortable.  I honestly wanted her to stay the entire wedding as a guest because I felt so close to her after our journey together. .... And thank God she has a sense of humor because when I wanted to do a funny gender reveal, newborn shoot for our new puppy, Frankie, she was all in!! She was even able to swaddle our 9 week only puppy! My husband actually said, when we were looking to book a photographer for our wedding, that he only wanted to work with Tiffany.  That's when I knew she would be apart of our lives forever.  I'm pretty sure 99.9% of the pictures framed in our house are all taken by Tiffany.  Tiffany captures the stuff that dreams are made of.  Thank you Tiffany for being apart of our big moments and giving us the greatest gifts, our memories live and in living color (or moody and in black and white when the occasion arises).

Not only is she professional, responsive and brilliantly talented, she is kind, sweet, accommodating and easy to talk to and work with. Emily was referred to us by another photographer (who had happened to be booked for our wedding date) and I am so grateful she did. Upon first meeting with Emily, you notice she really tries to get to know her potential client and also lets you know a little about herself, and you realize she really loves what she does and it shows. In addition to our wedding photos, we decided to do an engagement session with her as well. Our engagement photos turned out more beautiful than we could have asked for. She just put us at such ease, and her photos come out so natural, romantic, and real- all without being forced or contrived. She truly captures what your heart's story is, whatever it may be. We cannot wait to see our wedding photos, and we're confident they'll be amazing. She is truly truly a gem, as good as it gets and I would recommend her to anyone (and will probably ask her to photograph us again!).

At the time, my son was 3 1/2 and we had never had professional portraits done of him or our family. I wanted to do them, but every time I spoke with a photographer, he or she mentioned taking pictures in a studio with artificial light and faux backdrops. Ugh - I am not a fan of cheesy studio pics. So I'd never gotten around to family photos. When I saw this photographer taking pictures of a family in a natural setting, I knew that was what I wanted. Having some chutzpah, I approached and asked for a card. I went home and looked up Barbara Bell online. Barbara Bell had no Yelp reviews at that time, but a beautiful portfolio. Done - hired. * Photography: 5 stars - I love her images shot in natural light. * Personality: 5 stars - Very pleasant during photo shoot and helpful when choosing which images to order. * Value: 4 stars - Like most professional photographers, the clients don't keep the negatives and buy the prints they like by selecting them online. * Communication: 3.5 stars - Hard to reach at times. We set up a photo shoot and met in the same park for about an hour. Our beloved dog was included (he *is* a family member after all). We had a fun and relaxed photo session; she was excellent with my son who hammed it up for her. The only downside was the inconvenience of not being able to reach her by phone. If you can't reach her, try email. We were extremely happy with the images she produced of our family. I would definitely hire Barbara again.

One of the things I loved about Barbara most was that she took action almost immediately, giving both Ru and I direction like a pro. She knew exactly what would look good on camera and what wouldn't. Fashion photography can be tricky because the details REALLY matter. For example, If a belt you're wearing shifts and never gets corrected, you won't have any usable photographs for that outfit as a whole. I told that to Barbara at the beginning of our shoot and she was very receptive to that advice, always making sure that I was adjusted the correctly. She was also very receptive to what I was looking for, constantly checking in and showing me the work she had done. I highly recommend Barbara. She's smart about her photography; she straddles that fine line of being receptive to your needs but also authoritative about her experience, beautifully. It also doesn't hurt that I had a ton of gorgeous photos to post to my blog (I've added one to the photos section).

We had a wonderful experience at Prestige Portrait Studio today! A big thank you to Nicole,…read moreClaudia, and Mohammed for their warmth, professionalism, and kindness shown to our special needs son who took his high school graduation pics today. At first, we were a bit nervous after reading some of the past negative reviews, but we actually had the opposite experience, and we wanted to give them credit for this. We were greeted by a friendly front desk person named Nicole. She was very thorough about explaining their packages. We also had received info from our high school about their packages prior to making the appointment for the photo shoot so we knew what clothing to bring. We chose the Essentials package which included 3 outfits: the yearbook pic in a tux, the cap & gown, and an outfit from home (we brought a long sleeve, button down, blue shirt; he wore jeans). The studio provides the tux and the cap&gown. They also recommend for boys to wear a white t-shirt for the photo shoot. There is helpful info for senior portraits on their website: https://prestigeportraits.com/tips/senior-picture-checklist/ So we had our son wear a white tshirt and jeans to the studio. We carried his long sleeve, blue, button-down shirt on a hanger. Once we were checked in, Nicole and another sweet woman named Claudia directed us from the lobby to the dressing area. Because our special needs son needed assistance with dressing, we were allowed in the dressing area. The lobby and dressing areas were clean; there were also private dressing rooms and a seating area. Claudia assisted our son with dressing with such each ease and kindness with all of the outfit changes. Our son was led into the photography room by his photographer, Mohammed. This man is so talented and so heartwarming! He was so engaged with our son that he took so many great photos of our son. Mohammed also showed me & my husband all of the photos he took at the end of the session. We were seen on time at 515pm on a Friday, and we were there for 1 hour. It was the best hour we had a professional photography studio. There were also 2 other kids having photo sessions but there were 2 other photographers who were amazing as well. Thanks again Mohammed, Nicole, and Claudia for truly making this beautiful experience happen for our son. We are truly grateful.

Here's the thing. I had an appointment for 7pm for my senior portraits (the business doesn't close…read moreuntil 8pm). They tell you in the email confirmation to get there 15 minutes early. We did, and the door was locked with the closed sign. Lights on, nobody there? So we waited in the car until someone came to the desk, who really did not want to let us into the waiting room. They had taken their lunch until 7... BUT they completely turned it around bc the photographers and lady coordinating everything were so wonderful. It seems like everyone just needed a break from dealing with teenagers arguing with their parents. Each photographer was so encouraging and help set up all the poses. They were all cracking jokes and asking questions, so it was very nice atmosphere. It was a wonderful guided experience & even the woman at the front desk had cheered up by the end. Be kind, be patient, and be organized and you will have a great experience. My other note is that a lot of the background and poses can feel a little silly, very JC Penny awk photoshoot, but I recommend! It's a little cramped back there, but again fun.
