He got my case dismissed, so that's great! Impressive considering the nature of the charge, Class A misdemeanor - yikes! They also had my confession (altercation with a co worker). The prosecutor(s) wanted this on my record but 'closed' so only officers and any potential government employers could see it, and that worried me. But he fought! He encouraged me to get recommendations from employers and write about goals, which I did. Fortunately my former employer was willing to vouch for me (there was a mitigating circumstance) and that was enough to finally persuade prosecutors to let me off much easier-my case was dismissed with a couple of conditions that are no biggie. Brian aggressively pursued my defense in a case of 70 mph in a 55 work zone. The sign had been placed within the acceleration ramp and, as such, was not viewable while looking left to enter traffic. Since there was a line of cars to my immediate left, and since one should NEVER decelerate on an acceleration ramp for fear of being rear-ended, I was forced to accelerate.
