Dont bother calling Bryan eutger - he's got a great excuse just waiting to be used "I cant really control them - they are independant" or "its the nature of the business" yada yada yada. Our project started in 2019 during COVID. The project was competively bid, met the revised schedule, and was approximately 2-3% over budget which is less than expected. He bid the design that we owned and made some tweaks with his architect and brought in a designer to help with owner selections. He himself was the project manger, rather than an employee, so we had his expertise throughout the build. This was in a conservation district and he was well versed with those requirements. Monthly draws came in in an organized & detailed format with all receipts and sub's invoices attached. After living in the house for approximately 6 months we would say quality materials were used and the craftsmanship was high. Highly recommend. read more

Beware homeowners. Mr. Gream does not like to pay his subcontractors and liens for unpaid subcontracting work and materials will be filed against your property. We are a subcontractor that completed work on a residential property in Lakewood over 6 weeks ago and have had to file a lien and Mr. Gream still has not paid. read more

He is not a good guy. He overbooks his clients for materials and then uses the materials at his rental properties. I know because I lived in one of his rental properties. Stay away, he's shady! read more

Do NOT use Brian Gream Renovations if you want him to do anything other than EXACTLY what is written in the contract. If I am going to be fair I have to say his crew did a very good job. HOWEVER, the attitude of this contractor is less than positive. Apparently he missed the class in contractor school that taught good customer service skills. Some of the work I had done on my house was a result of a hail storm and as a result was covered by insurance. Rather than do the minimal amount of work I had the entire house painted, etc. Brian offered to give me a separate estimate that would detail only the work covered by insurance so I could turn it into State Farm and get my full coverage amount reimbursed. When it came time for final payment (which was less than $1,000.00), I asked him for the estimate (which he has been promising for over a month) and his response was he would "not have his payment held hostage for something he was going to give me for free". He further stated he didn't need my referrals and basically could care less that I was disappointed with his customer service. Apparently Mr. Gream has more money than I do and doesn't understand the importance of insurance reimbursement. If you tell him exactly what you want up front I'm sure you will be happy with his work, but please don't change or add anything mid-stream because that becomes a burden. read more

Brian Gream renovated our home on Lakewood Boulevard and I cannot recommend him highly enough. We contracted for a very high end renovation of our kitchen, entry, and living area. The home was a Hutsell so we were very conscience of the architectural details remaining in keeping with the historic intent of the architect. As someone who lives in Lakewood Brian really appreciates these homes as much as we do. Brian's staff is top notch. His tile installer was a true artist and was able to create a beautiful mediterranean feel with travertine and his levels and spacing were PERFECT. We did have many changes and alterations along the way and Brian deferred to his experts. If it COULD be done he would do it and he gave us estimates on the spot. In addition, Brian was very fair in his pricing, which we really appreciated. In this day and age where so many will do a terrible job and demand an exorbitant amount for it, people like Brian Gream are the ones you want to trust to treat you fairly. We were absolutely thrilled with everything Brian and his crew accomplished. Nothing had to be redone and nothing was done half assed. We no longer own the home Brian renovated for us as we moved to Colorado, but if we were to return to Dallas and again renovated an upscale home, Brian Gream would be at the top of our list for contractors. read more
